The Hologic Genius™ Digital Diagnostics System, the first and only FDA-cleared platform of its kind, renders each ThinPrep® slide in volumetric depth, while its deep-learning algorithm distils tens of thousands of cells into a gallery of those most pertinent to diagnosis. A secure image server and review station extend that scrutiny across distance, so a second opinion no longer depends on the passage of a glass slide.

The implications reach well beyond a single institution. Cervical cancer is largely preventable when detected early and a screening pathway that is swifter and more scalable strengthens that promise for the women of the UAE. Review time falls by up to 50%, capacity expands, histopathology slides are digitised, and the groundwork is laid for Histo AI. We regard this as our contribution to the Dubai’s diagnostic infrastructure: introducing a proven technology, steering its adoption, and standing beside the clinical team until it becomes routine practice.
