Accessibility is everywhere, even when we don’t recognise it as accessibility! 👀
The captions you switch on while scrolling. The automatic doors you walk through. The kerb ramp you roll your suitcase over. The lift you take instead of the stairs.
For some of us, these features simply make everyday life easier or more convenient. For others, they can be the difference between being able to access a space, information or experience - and being excluded from it entirely.
Accessibility goes far beyond ramps and lifts. It can be physical, sensory, digital, communication-based or informational, and some of the best accessible design blends so seamlessly into everyday life that we barely notice they’re there. 👏
