Calm Within Healing Calm Within Healing is a sacred space for energetic healing and soulful alignment. However, a transformative healing experience at 50 sparked a new path.

As a compassionate Reiki Master and empath, I've always been drawn to healing and helping others. My journey began with a deep connection to my mother, whom I'd massage and comfort during her struggles with cancer and brain tumors. After her passing, I navigated life's challenges, often feeling lost and disconnected. I discovered my passion for Reiki, spiritual growth, and energy healing.

# Healing with Love and Light
Through my Reiki practice, I work with the 7 Chakras to balance and harmonize energy, promoting relaxation, self-love, and inner peace. My sessions incorporate ambient meditation music, crystals, singing bowls, and gentle energy work to:

- Relieve stress, anxiety, and depression
- Foster self-love and confidence
- Improve sleep quality
- Clarify mind and spirit

Today, 15 August, Reiki Australia honours the heavenly birthday of Mikao Usui Sensei (1865–1926), founder of the Usui system of Reiki.

We acknowledge with gratitude the teachings and practices of Usui Sensei and the Reiki lineage that has carried his work across generations and around the world.

His legacy reminds us that Reiki is more than a healing practice. At its heart is a way of living, reflected in the Reiki Precepts:

Just for today, do not anger
Just for today, do not worry
Just for today, be humble
Just for today, be honest in your work
Just for today, be compassionate to yourself and others

Today, we honour Usui Sensei, the teachers who continued his work, and the generations of Reiki practitioners who continue to uphold and share the practice of Reiki.

With gratitude, we remember Usui Sensei and the legacy he left for the Reiki community worldwide. 🙏
