Our Redirection team spent a beautiful day out at the Yarrabah disability provider day deep in connecting, conversations, and relationship building. It was great to see familiar faces and hear stories of how some of these providers came about. We absolutely loved our time there and cannot wait to return back next year. We also got to drive around Yarrie to see some of their stunning beaches and what a treat that was. Sending big love to our Yarrabah community 🖤🩶💛

What a beautiful day well spent over the hill in Yarrabah for the Yarrabah Disability Provider Day today. A day of great conversations, discovery, connection, laughter & empowerment. It is so amazing to see so many different options of services for our wonderful communities. Thank you Yarrabah for always welcoming us with love and open arms. We never take advantage, or for granted these beautiful relationships we’ve built overtime. Thank you to the incredible Bumma Bippera 987fm for the work you do and for giving us the day and time today to share a little bit about ourselves.

Aaaaaaand we’re back with a double whammy! Another outcome, another milestone, and another reason to celebrate!

We’re not just sitting around talking about what we can do. We’re out there doing it. In and out of the field, genuinely putting in the work, creating opportunities, giving our clients hope and, most importantly, delivering what we said we would deliver.

A massive congratulations to another one of our clients from our Empower to Employment program, who has officially secured employment and is getting ready to start her new role!

This client was referred to us by the lovely team at NaviCare Coordination, and another beautiful example of what happens when the right people come together with the same goal.

When we receive an employment referral, one of the first things our Employment Consultant likes to do is get the person thinking outside of what they already know. What have you done before? What did you enjoy? What didn’t you enjoy? What else could you see yourself doing? Sometimes people have spent so long believing their options are limited that they just need someone to help them see beyond those limitations. That’s exactly what we worked through with this client. We explored different career pathways, threw around a few ideas, tested the boundaries a little and landed a job that she's never done before, but could very well be the beginning of a completely new career that she might just love. And when you love what you do, you never work a day in your life ;)

From there, we got to work.

We reached out directly to the employer, opened that conversation and helped create an opportunity for our client to put herself forward.

And she did the rest. She attended her interview, showed them exactly who she was and secured herself the job!

This is what Empower to Employment is about. We can open doors, make connections and support people along the way, but seeing our clients walk through those doors themselves is the best part.

A huge congratulations from all of us at Redirection Care. We are so proud of you and cannot wait to see where this next chapter takes you.

Two employment outcomes to celebrate 🙌😁

Hi everyone, yes we're still here 😂 We have just been absolutely flat out doing what we love, but today we had to stop and share this one.

Today, Jeshua started his first ever paid job. When we first started supporting Jeshua, we made a commitment to him and his mum that we would do everything we could to help him find work. Somewhere that would understand his disability, respect him and give him a fair chance.

Today, that happened.

There have been multiple back and forth phone calls, clearances, applications, paperwork, appointments and follow ups to get here. Jeshua's support worker Malcolm has been a huge part of making this happen, helping him get organized and motivated, sending him reminders, checking in, keeping things moving and just being there for him. His mum, sister and previous support workers have also played such an important part in helping him get here.

And of course, Jeshua himself. After facing a setback with another employer, this was the victory he deserved.

He is all smiles and ready for his next shift.

This is exactly why we created Empower to Employment.

Our employment support is backed by a highly experienced Employment Consultant who has spent years specialising in complex disability caseloads. We understand that finding work for someone with a disability isn't as simple as handing them a resume and sending them off to apply for jobs. You need to understand the person, what they need to succeed, what could get in their way and, importantly, find an employer and workplace that fits.

Jeshua is a beautiful example of what can happen when the right people come together and someone is finally given that chance.

Before the first sunrise touched the earth, before the oceans learned the rhythm of the tide, God imagined a heart strong enough to carry His gentleness into the world. So He created woman. Not as an afterthought, not as a shadow of man, but as a sacred calling—
a living reflection of His nurturing love. Into her hands He placed mysteries: the ability to grow life beneath her heart, to feel another soul before it speaks, to hold pain and still choose compassion. A woman is one of God’s quietest miracles. She is the place where life first hears a heartbeat. The voice that teaches children their first language of love. The patience that waits through seasons because she trusts the seeds God planted will grow. God gave women a strength that often looks like softness. The strength to forgive when bitterness would be easier. The strength to nurture when the world grows cold. The strength to stand again even when life bends her to her knees. Where the world measures power in noise, God placed His power in her quiet faith. Look closely and you will see it everywhere.
In mothers who pray over sleeping children. In daughters who carry hope into broken places. In sisters who remind others of their worth when they have forgotten it themselves. Women are not simply part of creation—they are part of God's promise to it.
Through them, He reminds humanity that love is not weakness. It is His greatest force. Every act of care,
every gentle word, every sacrifice made without applause is a small echo of the heart of God. And somewhere tonight, a woman will whisper a prayer for someone else before she sleeps. That prayer may never be seen by the world—but heaven hears it.
Today we honor women not only for what they do, but for the divine gift they carry within them. A calling written by God Himself: to bring life, to protect hope, to keep love alive even in the darkest hours. If you want to see the tenderness of God walking on earth, look at a woman who loves deeply. There you will find one of His most beautiful creations.

Happy International Women’s Day to every woman living out the calling God placed in her heart.
