I'm excited to announce that teacher Justine McGill is joining our Qigong training in Ubud in Dec. She has loads of experience and wisdom to share! Hope you can join us.
From Justine....
I love sharing the practices of mindful movement, self-massage, healing sounds and meditation that make up the self-healing art of qigong. These ancient practices, rooted in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, provide powerful ways to respond to seasonal changes, and align with the flows of nature to enhance health and well-being.
I was introduced to Integrative Qigong by Nicole Lee at Kundalini House, and her radiance and infectious joy in the practice made me eager to learn more. I completed teacher training with Nicole in 2019. I have also trained with qigong masters Simon Blow and Liu Deming and been inspired by international teachers including Mimi Kuo-Deemer, Kseny Gray, Marisa Cranfill, Jeffrey Chang and John Weiss.
Currently, I teach qigong to groups of patients with chronic pain at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, as part of my work as a clinical psychologist. This is one of the most rewarding parts of my work at hospital, as it lets me see the healing power of qigong in action. I have also led workshops on how to use qigong to help understand and manage anxiety, and occasionally cover qigong classes at Kundalini House Yoga Studio in Fitzroy North.
