Her first period doesn't need to be a big, dramatic event. A little preparation can make all the difference.

With some schools back for a new term, it's a good time to tick a few things off the list. Think honest conversations, a period kit for her school bag and knowing what to expect.

We've put together a practical first period checklist to make those conversations a little easier.

Swipe through for the essentials, then read our full guide 👇

The absorbency number tells you one part of the story. The construction tells you the rest.

UnderDance™ Bumpers guard the sides of the absorbent lining. A small detail with a very practical job for girls on the move 🧑🏻‍🩰

For Briden-Starr, being “on the other side of it” means finding joy in the studio, in her students’ progress, and in the life she’s built around dance.

A reminder that your relationship with dance can change over time, without losing its place in your life.

Still got it, ladies. 🔥

A few weeks ago we introduced you to Tori from Umina United, talking about playing football on her period without the stress and distraction that can come with it. This time there’s an opposition to read, teammates to find, space to make and a match to play.

Her head has better places to be than on her period. Like, you know, in the game. 😏⚽️

Talent gets a lot of attention. The work behind it usually doesn’t.

Briden-Starr wasn’t born able to do everything she can do now. She was stiff as a board. She stretched every night. She kept showing up.

Her advice for the days when you feel like you’re getting nowhere is simple: look back six months. Ask your teachers. Notice the little wins.

What can you do now that used to be hard?

Progress is evidence, even when it doesn’t feel dramatic.
