CATCHING UP WITH THE BOYS 💚

From visiting our Morisset Hub to catching trains and exploring the community, our boys have been keeping busy and making the most of their time with their amazing support workers.

Whether it’s discovering new places, enjoying a favourite treat, sharing a laugh or simply getting out and about, it’s the little moments that make a big difference.

We’re so proud to see our participants building confidence, enjoying new experiences and making memories along the way.

Our Summer School Holiday Programs are back, with three programs available this summer!

A huge thank you to Ash for all the hard work that goes into organising these programs. We’re looking forward to a summer filled with fun, new experiences and making memories with our participants.

HOW TO EXPRESS YOUR INTEREST

1. Click the link in our bio or the link below.
2. Complete the EOI form for your preferred program.
3. Submit your form by Friday, 20 November 2026.

Please note that spaces are limited for each program. Once a program reaches capacity, bookings will close, so we encourage you to submit your EOI as early as possible rather than waiting until the cut-off date.

Our team will be in touch as soon as possible after receiving your form.

CELEBRATING ONE YEAR WITH DAN! 🩵

Today, we’re celebrating Dan’s first year with Summit Abilities!

Over the past 12 months, Dan has completed an incredible 464 shifts and 1,656 hours supporting our participants.

Starting his journey in support work without previous experience in the field, Dan has developed his understanding of the importance of patience, empathy and adapting to each participant’s individual needs.

Dan brings plenty of laughs along the way and appreciates the supportive team environment at Summit, where colleagues share ideas, encourage one another and work together without judgement.

Dan, thank you for your hard work and dedication throughout your first year. We’re proud to celebrate this milestone with you and look forward to seeing what the next year brings!

💙 WALK FOR AUTISM | SUMMIT ABILITIES

Today, our Summit Abilities team came together to walk for our participants and the autistic community, and what an amazing result!

Together, we walked 3.63km to raise awareness, celebrate our participants and show our support for a world where autistic people feel understood, accepted and included.

We’re so proud of our team for getting involved and coming together for something that means so much to the people we support. Every step counts, and days like today remind us why raising awareness and creating opportunities for inclusion are so important.

🩵 CELEBRATING ONE YEAR OF OUR AMAZING CINDY! 🩵

Today, we’re celebrating Cindy’s first year with Summit Abilities!

Over the past 12 months, Cindy has completed an incredible 291 shifts and 1,651 hours supporting our participants and being part of the Summit family.

With her funny, bubbly personality and fantastic team spirit, Cindy brings so much positivity to our team. She’s not only a wonderful team player but also a positive role model for both our staff and participants.

Cindy has continued to grow her skills in adaptive communication, learning how to best support each participant’s individual needs. One of her favourite memories has been taking part in music theory with a participant who expressed their enjoyment through instruments.

Cindy, thank you for your dedication, your positive energy and everything you bring to Summit Abilities. We’re incredibly lucky to have you as part of our team!
