It has been four years and one month since my first Death Chat Cafe! I can't believe it.
Each meeting leaves me in awe of those present who come with open minds and full hearts.

Today was no exception and I am honoured to facilitate our special and may I say sacred gathering of speaking about Death and Dying unconditionally.

I especially am grateful for the professionals in our industry that give their free time to support attendees and offer answers to questions.

My mission is to encourage conversations about Death and Dying without fear so it becomes a natural cycle of life and allowing the end of life journey to be the best and most peaceful it can be for everyone connected.

See you November 11th for our last gathering for 2026.

Just a reminder of our Death Chat Cafe tomorrow 10-11.30am at Brioche Cafe Newtown.

We have a special guest Frances D'Arcy-Tehan from Tender Funeral Geelong who will talk about Trunyan Village Bali Funerary Rites and Rituals. There will be a short documentary.

Other topics for discussion will be updates on Voluntary Assisted Dying ((VAD) and the affects on Government changes to Support At Home which involves our elderly terminally ill.
