🐐💕 Meet Daisy & Maple! 💕

Please join us in welcoming the newest additions to our Empower Independence family, Daisy and Maple, our gorgeous little Pygmy goats! 🐐🌸

These two little cuties have already stolen our hearts, and we can’t wait for everyone to meet them!

We’re so excited to continue growing our little animal family and creating more opportunities for beautiful connections, new experiences and plenty of cuddles. 💙

Just a little note for anyone wondering about the pink on their heads! 💗 Daisy and Maple have recently been disbudded (had their horn buds removed) for safety reasons. The pink colouring is from the treatment applied to the area.

It’s so beautiful to see the amazing friendships being built, the confidence growing and the genuine connections being made each and every week. This is exactly what NDIS Rock Chix is all about! 💙

🎂 A MASSIVE Happy Birthday to Emma! We hope you had the most wonderful day celebrating with us. Emma was also gifted an Animal Cuddle Experience from Empower Independence! 🐰🐴🐹 We can’t wait for you to enjoy some special cuddles with our furry friends!

A little appreciation post for my boy Kye! 💙

While most teenagers were enjoying their weekend, Kye spent his out in the rain building this awesome bin enclosure for Empower Independence! 🛠️

I’m so proud of the young man you’re becoming, Kye. Not only for your hard work, but for the kindness, patience and respect you show Elias every single day. It’s those little things that mean the most to me.

You’ve got such a big heart, kiddo, and I couldn’t be prouder of you! ❤️

A massive shoutout to Taj for jumping in and helping too. What an awesome job you boys have done!

This October, Empower Independence is proudly taking part in Run for Autism! 🏃‍♀️💙

This is something I’ve personally participated in every year, but this year is extra special because I have my incredible Empower Independence team right beside me! 💪

For us, it’s about so much more than running or clocking up kilometres. It’s about raising awareness, celebrating differences, breaking down barriers and showing our support for the autism community. 💙

Every person deserves to feel accepted, included, understood and empowered to be exactly who they are.

At Empower Independence, inclusion isn’t just something we talk about. It’s something we believe in, stand for and work towards every single day. 🫶

I’m so proud to have a team who shares that same passion and is willing to get out there and make a difference!

🍌💙 BIG BANANA FUN DAY 2026! 💙🍌

WOW! What an absolutely INCREDIBLE day! 🥹🌈☀️

Today was filled with laughter, adventure, excitement, new friendships and memories that will last a lifetime!

But today was about so much more than just having fun! 💙

It was about building confidence, making new friends, learning valuable life skills and stepping outside our comfort zones.

From managing money, making decisions, practising patience and communicating with others, to encouraging one another and trying new experiences, every little achievement was worth celebrating! 🥰

One of the most beautiful things was watching everyone come together, form new friendships, support each other and simply enjoy being part of something special.

THIS is what Empower Independence is all about! 💙

Creating opportunities, building connections, encouraging independence and making sure everyone has the chance to experience everything life has to offer.

A massive THANK YOU to our wonderful families for trusting us and allowing us to create these incredible memories together.

And to my AMAZING TEAM, I honestly couldn’t be prouder! ❤️ The patience, kindness, dedication and genuine love you put into what you do never go unnoticed. Days like today wouldn’t be possible without every single one of you!

Seeing all those happy faces today reminded me exactly why I started Empower Independence. 🥹💙

A huge appreciation post for Keiarna from Salty Paws 🐾💙

For quite some time now, Elias has been heading to Salty Paws every Wednesday for his work experience, and the difference this opportunity has made for him has been absolutely incredible.

It is so much more than simply going to work each week. It has given Elias purpose, responsibility, routine, confidence and a real sense of belonging. He gets to be out in the community, learning new skills, building his independence and spending time doing something he genuinely loves, being around animals. 🐶

Seeing how proud Elias is of himself and how much he looks forward to his Wednesdays is something really special.

A massive thank you to Keiarna for opening her business and her heart to Elias. For giving him real jobs to do, teaching him new skills, being patient, encouraging him and making him feel valued every single week. The kindness and time you give Elias means more than you probably realise, and we are so incredibly grateful.

This is such a beautiful example of what can happen when one local business is willing to give someone an opportunity. A few hours of work experience can create confidence, independence, connection and a genuine sense of purpose.
