Small tools, big difference 🩵

For people living with dementia or memory loss, not knowing who is coming to the door can feel confusing or even scary. A simple visual board can change that.

This “Today my support worker is…” board shows a photo and name of each worker in the support team. Each morning, the right photo goes in the frame, so the person can see who is coming before they arrive.

Why it helps:
✨ Builds trust and reduces anxiety
✨ Makes new or changing faces feel familiar
✨ Gives the person more control over their day
✨ Supports independence and dignity
✨ Helps families feel reassured too

At Resilient Life Care, we work with participants, families and allied health professionals to find practical ideas like this, ones that fit the person and make everyday life feel a little easier and safer.

Sometimes the best supports are the simplest ones. 🩵

How good are Age Care and NDIS expos?

There’s something about getting everyone in the same room.

Providers supporting different groups of people. Participants who’ve been navigating the same system from the other side. Families and carers who turn up with a list of questions and leave with actual answers. Friends who’ve come along to support someone they love and end up learning more than they expected.

That’s the bit we love. Not the stands, not the freebies , the conversations.

Everyone in that room is there for the same reason, because they care about someone, or they care about doing this work well. You feel it walking in.

At Resilient Life Care, no participant walks the road to secure housing alone. When homelessness is a real risk, we’re right there beside them, making the calls, chasing the paperwork, sitting in the hard conversations and holding the plan together until the door opens on a place they can call home.
