From the day you came home, to the day we said goodbye.

You brought so much love, laughter and joy not only to our lives but also the lives of everyone who met you or heard stories of your antics.

You were cheeky, snuggly, oh so very stubborn and sometimes too smart for your own good.

You’ve left a gaping hole in our hearts, no one will ever be able to fill.

Rest easy our little man, the bestest boy there ever was 💙

Younger me loved baking 🥧 It was food for my soul, pardon the pun!

Being diagnosed a coeliac 19 years ago only added to the thrill. Commercial Gluten Free baked goods were heavy and nothing like we have available now.

If I was on a late shift the pub crew & I had muffins, cupcakes & slices to get us through the night.

The kids had freshly baked treats for school and at one point I played with the idea of creating a Gluten Free cook book of all my tried & tested recipes.

These days I don’t bake as much as I’d like, the kids aren’t at home and my waist line calls time out 🫣

But Sunday afternoon with the smell of blueberry apple cinnamon donuts in the oven, just gives me all the good feels. 🥰

18 months into business ownership and the one constant theme is change & unpredictability! Everyday looks different, every intention has to adjust. 💫

Yesterday I had full intention to compile a BTS of my day, this 7 seconds is all I managed to capture 🤣

Here’s how it actually went with a 5.15am start ….
🧘🏻‍♀️ 2 x Reformer classes
🏠 home for breaky with Rex
🛋️ helped Miss L move her couch as she’s moving back to Melb this week 🥺
👚 meeting with Birdy Design | Custom Embroidery to sort our upcoming merch
☕️ check in with the Friday team
💻 interview with a new potential Admin
💅🏻 long overdue pedi (IYKYK)
👩🏻‍💻 back to the home office to finalise the week
🍕 pizza & collapse on the couch

It’s not glamorous (well my toes are now 🤣) and the highlight reel is short, but my heart is full 🩷

This little man scared the bejesus out of me this morning.

They warn you about the puppy & teenage years but no one mentions how hard the senior years are.

The long held love, the unpredictably, the helplessness of previously adept bodies.

Rex is teaching me to now slow down a little bit more, enjoy the quiet & cup of tea together. To savour another chapter of his story 💙🐾
