Behaviour doesn’t happen in a vacuum.

When a behaviour is concerning, one of the most useful questions we can ask is:

“What might this person be communicating?”

Positive Behaviour Support looks beyond what we can immediately see. It considers the person, their environment, communication, relationships, strengths, needs and the factors that may be contributing to the behaviour.

There’s a lot happening behind the scenes in Support Coordination.

One moment might involve checking in with a participant. The next could be following up a provider, solving a service issue, preparing for a plan reassessment or helping someone understand their options.

But good Support Coordination isn’t simply about organising appointments and services.

It’s about building capacity, strengthening connections and helping participants have greater confidence and control over their supports and NDIS plan. 💜
