The remedial hot stones have been a big hit….i use them as an extension of my hands, they provide heat into the trigger points aiding in the release of the taut bands

I will be taking a short break, if you are after an apt in the next two weeks….book yourself into the remaining available apts

Spotlight on Lymphatic Drainage Massage!!
After a review from one of my regular clients who has endometriosis, I thought it was an opportunity to highlight its benefits.
A lymphatic drainage massage is a powerful massage for a number of reasons:.

* to reduce fluid retention
* post surgery to reduce swelling
* Caesarean (post) to reduce swelling particularly in the thighs
* Pain relief
The lymphatic system is our bodies inbuilt waste disposal unit. It is part of the circulatory and immune system.

Its function is to detoxify our bodies by removing the waste and producing immunity.

It is performed proximal to distal (away from the heart)
Performed supine (on your back) only

A very light repetitive touch to encourage the fluid out of the cells
What to expect after a lymphatic drainage massage:

* Immediate relief from swelling and discomfort.
* A need to urinate more frequently, as the body is processing and eliminating increased lymph fluid.
* A feeling of relaxation and lightness
If you have never experienced a lymphatic drainage massage do yourself a favour and trial one.....

11 years later 🗓⏳👣 doing what I love….

I don’t remember having short hair!!!

I remember the shock to the body after hours standing and the shoulders and arms being sore…..shortly after that weight training or I was not going to last in an industry that asks a lot of your body….

From working for someone else to having my own purpose built studio….

Gosh the years pass…..I am fortunate to still have many clients that followed me from Elsternwick to McKinnon….and in between…

Let there be many more years to come…

This was my first remedial massage position after leaving Financial services….
