For all enquiries and any orders please email us at [email protected] Organic Instinct is a business run by a mother on a mission (and a very supportive husband!). We have two beautiful daughters who are the reason behind our passion for good health and quality of life. Our lives were transformed after our children were born and we began to question everything we were consuming and using on our bodies and in our home. Both having studied a science degree meant we were able to somewhat decipher the ingredients labels on products which left us very concerned about the chemical cocktails we were exposed to on a daily basis. From there grew my passion to supply my family with quality and affordable products that nourish the body and provide peace of mind as a mother. I read endlessly, from medical journals to books to credible web pages and it is this thirst for information that has brought us to where we are. Organic Instinct was established in response to numerous inquiries by many friends and families who desired to make a health change. It is the encouragement of friends and family that has inspired us to begin this new business with so much love and enthusiasm. Our passion is to provide you with premium quality products, without the hefty price tag. We look forward to meeting your needs and exceeding your expectations. Organic Instinct

Do you know what’s on your fruit and veg?

Australia’s Residue Report 2026 by Pesticide Action Australia tested 78 samples of 13 everyday fruits and vegetables from Coles, Woolworths and Aldi.

Here is what the lab results showed:
201 pesticide residues from 54 different pesticides.
44% of samples contained PFAS, also known as “forever chemicals”.
56% carried at least one pesticide not approved in the EU.
One Sydney strawberry sample had a fungicide at nearly 10x the legal limit.

Capsicum, grapes and strawberries topped the list.

The good news is that a proper wash can help reduce surface residues.

Swipe through for the full findings and a simple baking soda wash you can make at home.

Want something already made for you? Enviroclean Fruit and Veg Wash is available in store at Health and Wellness Store in Melbourne, and online.

I read the back of your sunscreen so you don’t have to.

Two ingredients worth knowing about: homosalate and oxybenzone.

The TGA has recommended tighter restrictions on both, to reduce how much can be used in a product.
⚠️ Homosalate: a new study found high homosalate levels in pooled samples from Australian children, particularly in Queensland.
⚠️ Oxybenzone: the TGA found it may affect the hormone system, and at the maximum permitted amount on the whole body, its safety margin fell below the TGA’s benchmark for long-term use.

Our founder Derya set strict ingredient criteria from day one: if it’s not safe for her family, it won’t make it into yours. That’s why our sunscreens are zinc-based.

Whatever you choose, continue to be sun smart.

Shop our zinc range online and in store.

Thinking about a sunscreen swap?

Chemical filters like Homosalate and Oxybenzone work by absorbing UV rays. Studies show they can also be absorbed through the skin into the bloodstream, and lab research suggests they may have weak hormone-like activity. Regulators are taking a closer look, and some people prefer to switch while the science catches up.
Enter physical (mineral) sunscreens. Zinc oxide and titanium dioxide sit on top of the skin and reflect UV, with minimal absorption.

The most important thing is that the best sunscreen is the one you’ll actually wear. Any SPF beats no SPF, so don’t ditch sun protection while you decide.

At Organic Instinct, we’ve taken the guesswork out and made available all the best choices for you and your family’s needs.

Not all magnesium is created equal

Most magnesium supplements give you one form. MAGx4 gives you four

🫐 Magnesium Orotate Dihydrate
🫐 Magnesium Threonate
🫐 Magnesium Bisglycinate
🫐 Magnesium Citrate

Whether you’re smashing sessions in the gym or just surviving a hectic week, magnesium helps support muscle function, electrolyte balance, and reduce tiredness and fatigue.

And the best part? It’s a berry-flavoured powder, so no more swallowing giant capsules. No artificial colours, flavours or sweeteners either

Just 1 scoop in 250ml of cold water, once or twice a day.

Have you tried ATP Science Mag4?

The real spring clean isn’t about how hard you scrub. It’s about what you’re breathing in while you do it.

This spring, before you reach for the same old spray, open your windows first. Fresh air clears out the dust, toxins, and residue that build up indoors, something no spray can fix.

Then skip the artificial fragrances. That “fresh linen” scent is usually a mix of synthetic chemicals linked to headaches and irritation. Fragrance doesn’t mean clean. It just means masked.

For your bathroom, kitchen, and toilet, choose natural products that actually break down grime and bacteria, without leaving toxic residue on the surfaces you touch and cook on every day.

Deep clean, without the trade off.

Hayfever season is here, and most of us just reach for antihistamines without asking why this keeps happening every year.

A few natural approaches worth trying:
Local raw honey. Small daily doses may help your body adjust to regional pollen over time.

Nasal rinsing with saline. Clears allergens before they trigger a full histamine response.

Quercetin and vitamin C. Natural compounds that support a calmer immune response.

Gut health matters more than people think. A huge part of your immune system lives in your gut, and inflammation there can make allergic reactions worse.
Reducing dairy and processed sugar.

Root cause thinking means looking at your immune system as a whole, not just quieting the symptoms every spring.

Small daily habits now can mean a much easier season next year.

Save this for allergy season and share with someone who needs it.

Into the cart it goes: anti-inflammatory supplements for the joints that carry him through every shift, protein powders and bars to keep up with the graft, and the energy drinks finally traded in for kombucha.

Organic Instinct is quietly changing what recovery looks like for tradies.

Ladies, does this sound like your bloke or is there work to do?
