Today is World Osteoporosis Day, and it’s a reminder that understanding our bone health is just as important as protecting it.

New Australian research revealed an average osteoporosis knowledge score of just 29.5 out of 100 among Australians aged 50 and over. We have an opportunity to change that.

I’m pleased to be part of a free national initiative helping Australians better understand osteoporosis, their medicines and how to protect their bone health, with easy-to-understand resources available in five languages.
