Behind every great experience is a team working together. At EAT, every person plays a part!

Our EAT Food Trailer is more than just a place to serve great food. It's an environment where people come together, share their strengths, build confidence and develop practical hospitality skills.

From preparing orders to serving customers, every contribution matters, and every shift brings new opportunities to learn and grow.

Here's a little glimpse of the people who bring our Food Trailer to life!

Stronger Together, Growing Together!

A little look back at our EAT Support Team meeting from the other week!

It was a great opportunity for our team to come together, share ideas, strengthen communication and reflect on how we can continue delivering quality, person-centred support.

From interactive activities and real-life scenarios to discussions about teamwork, workplace culture and EAT's future direction, it was a valuable morning of learning and collaboration.

At Empowering Abilities Together, we believe that supporting others starts with empowering our own team through continuous learning, shared knowledge and teamwork.

A big thank you to our Support Team for your participation, contributions and ongoing commitment to making a difference!

NDIS changes are happening. Are you keeping up?

Whether you're an NDIS participant, a family member, or a provider, we know that keeping up with changes isn't always easy.

And sometimes, even the smallest update can raise big questions.

💭 Will this affect my funding?
💭 What does this mean for my supports?
💭 Is there anything I need to do differently?

These are questions worth asking, and staying informed is the first step towards finding the answers.

At Empowering Abilities Together, we believe everyone deserves access to clear, reliable information to help them make confident and informed decisions.

That's why we're breaking down some of the latest NDIS updates this October into information that's easier to understand.

Swipe through to see what's new with the NDIS this month!

📌 Save this post for later and share it with someone in your NDIS community.

We are looking forward to another collaboration to help provide work experience opportunities whilst working with a team of volunteers to keep the the canteen operating.

Stronger Together - New Season, New Partner

We’re thrilled to announce our new partnership with Empowering Abilities Together (EAT), who will be running our canteen for the upcoming season!

EAT is dedicated to empowering their participants through coordinating support, coaching, counselling, along with customised employment and job‑readiness programs. They work hard to provide opportunities, build confidence, create independence and community involvement. And we’re so proud to play a small part in that journey.

By teaming up with EAT, we’re not just serving great food, we’re supporting a program that empowers individuals to develop skills, gain experience, and shine.
"Partnering with EAT is a win for everyone, not just our club and community but, most importantly, the incredible individuals who are part of the EAT program. We’re delighted to welcome them into the KR family this season.”

Make sure to stop by our new canteen and show your support. It’s going to be a fantastic season ahead!

We’re heading to the Kelmscott Agricultural Show!

EAT will be at the Kelmscott Showground on 16 & 17 October, and we’d love for you to come along and say hello!

Community events like this give us the opportunity to bring EAT into real community environments, creating opportunities to practise hospitality skills, build confidence, work as a team and connect with others.
