We’re celebrating Speech Pathology Week!

Communication creates possibility... to belong. Today we celebrate Speech Pathology Week and the speech pathologists who remove communication barriers every single day. Through AAC, training, and environmental supports they open doors to friendship, learning, work, and community participation.

Great news!

The Australian Government has confirmed the CHSP extension to 30 June 2029, providing long‑awaited certainty for providers and the 830,000 older Australians who rely on CHSP services every day.

CHSP will remain a standalone program, with consultation beginning this year on block funding, early intervention, and better integration with Support at Home.

This extension supports continuity of home maintenance, minor modifications, allied health and community‑based supports across metro, regional and remote communities.
