Day for Daniel on the last Friday of October each year is such an important day to remember.

It signifies a horrific crime that was a huge part of the loss of innocence especially for children.

As a response to this horrific crime.

Daniel's parents whilst forever feeling the devastating loss, made a choice to make change and advocate so that hopefully this would never occur again.

Denise and Bruce Morcombe have shown great resilience and determination.

One of the significant changes they have made includes: The legislative change that occurred in honor of Daniel. This is the Community Protection and Public Child S*x Offender Register Act 2025, commonly known as Daniel's Law.

As well as the extensive work the Daniel Morcombe Foundation has done in schools and the community.

Today, it is a powerful force for educating children, supporting young victims of crime, and helping families of missing persons.

21 years after the first Daniel Morcombe Foundation, Day for Daniel was held it is still being held to remember him.

This family and there supporters are absolutely committed to making a difference in the lives of other children

🌈 Every individual has a unique story, and at Supporting Your Way of Life, we’re here to listen. 💙

We believe that meaningful support begins with understanding the individual, their goals, strengths and aspirations.

Our approach is built around person-centred support and capacity building, empowering participants to develop new skills, build confidence, strengthen independence and make informed choices about their own lives. ✨

We take the time to listen, understand and work alongside each participant, recognising that everyone’s journey is different and support should reflect their individual needs and goals. 💕

Because it’s not just about providing support — it’s about building capacity, creating opportunities and empowering individuals to live life their way. 🌻

🌈 Your life. Your choices. Your way.

💙 Carer Burnout: Caring for the person who cares

Being a carer can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also be physically and emotionally demanding.

When so much of your time and energy goes into supporting someone else, it can be easy to put your own needs last. Over time, this can lead to carer burnout — feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, irritable, disconnected or like there’s simply nothing left in the tank.

Recognising the signs isn’t a failure. Carers need support too. 🌿

At Supporting Your Way of Life, providing trusted, person-centred support can also give families and carers the opportunity to take a break, recharge and spend some much-needed time looking after their own wellbeing.

For carers needing additional support, Carer Gateway is an Australian Government program providing free services, support and resources for carers. You can find out more at Carer Gateway 💙
