We’re on a mission to bring a little extra Christmas magic to families in our community, and we’d LOVE your help.

Here’s how you can get involved:

🎁 THE GIFT GIVERS: Pick up a thoughtful present (around $20–$30 is a great starting point) for a woman, baby, child or teenager.

🎄 THE WORKPLACE CREWS: Ditch the usual Secret Santa and rally your colleagues to donate gifts instead. Imagine the difference your whole team could make!

🛍️ THE PRODUCT BUSINESSES: Got gorgeous products you’d love to donate? From skincare and homewares to toys and books, we’d love to hear from you.

🪩 THE PARTY PEOPLE: Join us on Saturday 21 November at She’s So Social, Baringa, for a morning of gift wrapping, festive fun and community connection.

Can’t attend? You can still donate gifts and arrange collection or drop-off.

All gifts will be distributed to families in need through the incredible Somewhere To Go Foundation. 🧡

✨ Saturday 21 November | 10.30am–12.30pm
📍 She’s So Social, Baringa

Register to donate or join the wrapping party via the link in our bio!

Tag your workplace, your favourite local product business or that friend who LOVES Christmas. Let’s make some magic together. 🧡

Skip the Secret Santa this year and give a gift that matters!

For a lot of families Christmas is anything but perfect, in fact it can feel downright messy.

So we’re creating the ultimate Christmas gift wrapping party at She’s So Social - The Content Creator’s Playground 🪩 next month. With all gifts being distributed to families in need through the SOMEWHERE TO GO FOUNDATION 🧡

How it works:
1. Register to donate a gift &/OR come along to the wrapping party with a gift (registration opens soon and it’s FREE)
2. Come to our wrapping party on the 21st Nov. Add the gifts to our wrapping tables. Wrap pressies, be merry, and even take some pics in our messy & bright Christmas set up by Golden Daze Event Co.
3. Give a family a Christmas that feels a little less messy

The Sunshine Coast Community Association are jumping onboard with the wrapping paper and festive fun!!

Tag your bff, your mum, your sister, your work mates and get your messy & bright crew prepped for some fun!

Honestly, I’m glad I’m not the younger version of me anymore. There were a lot of questionable decisions made and a lot of self-worth issues.

Nights like Mums Gone Mild are not about trying to be “younger,” but simply to remember what it feels like to have fun with friends, to put down the mental load for a moment, and have some space to shake off the stress or even realise what unimportant things you were worrying about and let that go.

Bring on MGM 2.0!

Are you in the Haus?

Business connections and networking are great, but if you can’t find someone - or remember what name to look up on IG - after an event the connection is wasted.

Loving the new look Business Directory | Community | Marketplace directory and being able to check out potential collabs, offers and people that I’ve met in person to keep the convo going.

Who told you women over 40 shouldn’t wear that?

B***y shorts, midriff tops, glitter, bright colours... what was a rule you grew up hearing when it came to what to wear when you were a teenager, in your 20s, 30s, or your 40s?

Mum’s Gone Mild inadvertently became a permission slip for perimenopausal women to break the dress code rules and say “F**k It.”

For some it was an opportunity to reconnect with parts of themselves - through their outfit choices - that they’d long buried.

For some it was a chance to creatively express themselves and live out a teenage dream look that they can now afford to shop for.

And for some it was simply getting out of the Mum uniform of stained oversize tees and leggings and remembering how much fun they can be when they drop the mental load for a minute.

For far too long we’ve had our bodies policed.

“Don’t wear that or you’re asking for it...”
“Your body shape shouldn’t be seen in ...”
“Who does she think she is to dress like that...”

F**k that!!

Dress to express yourself.
Dress to feel comfortable.
Dress to celebrate your body.
Dress to suit the weather or activity you are doing.
Dress to be visible.
Dress to have fun.
Dress to remember who you are before the world told you who you should be.

Party sunglasses through the years 👀

With Mums Gone Mild only a few sleeps away, I went for a little trip down memory lane.

Thankfully I’m an 80s baby. Mt teenage years were free from the mass documentation of my cringiest and somewhat questionable moments, so that I was free to actually live them out rather than create purely for social media consumption.

The memories live only in the vague recollections that are drawn forth when I get together with friends and one story sparks a reminder for another story, and we wind up laughing so hard you feel like you’re going to burst or p*e yourself (probs a bit of both)!

From the few photos I have pre 2008 - for some reason I seem to have lost/thrown out most of my digital and print photos before 2008 🤦🏽‍♀️ there’s a bit of a theme. My love for novelty sunglasses and dancing.

Pic 1: 15 years old at my semi formal
Pic 2: 28 (maybe??) at either Summerfieldayze or Some other music festival
Pic 3: 42/43 years old at Disco Club

Getting a Bordoodle puppy to train as an Assistance dog for my family was not on my 2026 bingo card… and yet here we are 😂

The health and well-being of myself and my family have been my main priority for almost 12 months now.

Maybe it was moving into the nature sanctuary, or having a hysterectomy, or it was just the next step in the grand Universal plan…

As I’ve deepened my learning in trauma, neurodivergence, and the body over the past 12 months, it became apparent that the next chapter in our healing and nervous system regulation was to welcome a dog into our family 🧡

If there’s one thing I know about creating safer spaces for healing and growth it’s that nervous system regulation is key.

Welcome to the family Chilli 🧡

Not long now and it’s time to celebrate so many incredible people in business at the Beam Awards!

So beyond thrilled to sponsor the Community Leader of the Year award for a second time and see the amazing work the finalists are doing for their communities 🧡
