Today my office looked a little different to my usual setting. And im not mad about it.

This weekend is the final weekend of year 3. I had to fight off a migraine, and its still being held off so hopefully it just leaves me alone...

But I did my assessment, got amazing feedback and I feel super proud of myself. Tomorrow I just get to kick back and observe.

One year to go!!!

Pascal has some news...

Next year (which is only a few months away), her and I are stepping into some school support work!

Doesn't she look super cute in her special bandana.

Sundays are for client skill building.

Today I had the pleasure of supporting a number of young people in a slightly different capacity to some of my usual work.

One included a Bunnings trip to budget, learn about growing food, what will grow here based on seasons, problem solving when they didnt have what we were looking for, then planting out and planning for new vegetables gardens.

Being able to teach these skills help build resilience, emotional capacity, and so much more.

I couldn't believe it when I arrived at the farm today to see these stunning sunflower blooms.

They are only just opening themselves to the world, but wow are they not beautiful.

It reminds me of working with clients... the work and effort that goes in that noone sees, until one day... BOOM, something changes, opens up, and it is the best feeling ever.

Our personal growth isn't something that happens overnight, just like gardening. It takes effort, the right conditions, constant work... and then the rewards happen.

And these pretty flowers remind me of all the hard work, the challenging times but in the end... its worth it.

There is something blooming at the farm!

Well almost.

This gardening gig is tough!

Over the years ive tried to grow things without much luck... its quite the balancing act... too much water, not enough... too much sun, not enough.

Doing well... then tada plant is dead.

Which has me thinking about the balancing act of being in the world.

As an neurodiverse practitioner balance is a juggle... too much work/not enough, too many events/staying hidden at home, giving too much of myself/not giving myself enough.

But with the right conditions I can bloom. Just as you can bloom.

If you need help finding that balance, I know of a really special space where you are wrapped in the natural world...

Where presence and connection hold you, allowing you to find your balance.

Today was Pascal day at the Adolescent Inpatient Unit, and as always Pascal was excited, enthusiastic and all smiles to meet with the young people.

It was a slow start, but slowness is not bad... just sometimes what our nervous system needs to get back in the swing of things.

Check out my beautiful well put together words at 2mins 45 seconds.

With just over two weeks until this year's awards, its nice to reflect on winning last year's Personal Service of the Year.

This year I am a finialist in FOUR categories, and I am so excited to attend with my bestie Tracey White Couplos.

The kids are still in the paddock!!!

They came over for a quick hello, and then straight back to wandering off eating.

Bossman and Lara are tight, and Peaches... well she is doing her own thing... I do wonder if she has been kicked out and needs an extra friend.

She seems happy enough and I do spy them having naps together.

Today we finalised the boundary fence situation, which included trying to clear the long dry grass by hand.

We ended the evening having some chats in the side by side which turned into a silly game with my trusty bestie where we put the timer on, and would wait till there was just a few seconds and run to try and get in the shot.

What ensued was a whole bunch of laughter and silly photos.

As adults, life can be incredibly stressful and overwhelming, which it has been for me for sure. So being silly, laughing and just letting go can be incredibly supportive.

It was the best impromptu adventure, with wonderful memories made.
