From a young age, I was hooked on sports and fitness. Whether it was playing soccer or going for a run, there was always something about pushing my body to its limits that brought me joy. But when it came time to choose a career path, I found myself lost. 🤷‍♂️

Like many young people, I thought going to university was the answer. So, I decided to become a teacher. But as it turned out, the classroom wasn't for me. I tried a few trades, but nothing really stuck. All I knew was that I wanted to teach and that I had a passion for health and fitness.

That's when I decided to take a leap of faith and become a personal trainer. I won't lie, it hasn't been easy being a business owner. There have been times when I've wanted to throw in the towel and find a "real job," but my love for helping others and my dedication to fitness have kept me going.

And let me tell you, the rewards have been incredible. Watching my clients transform their bodies and their lives has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. I may not have a traditional 9-5 job, but I wake up every day excited to do what I love. 🔥

The moral here is, if you have a passion or a feeling that you need to try something new – do it!

Some key takeaways:

Don't completely change your lifestyle. Reduce food portions and include more veggies, fruits & water.

Try moving more and add in exercise you enjoy! Don't just focus on the best fat burning "exercise"

Stop this "all or nothing" approach. There's only food you should eat more of & foods you should eat less of. Simple.

Lastly, your daily weight doesn't mean everything; so don't worry when yours fluctuates. Hormones, food intake and training all play a role.
