For a long time now, my life has been undoing itself.
Not dramatically or all at once.
Just steadily…. layer by layer.
What I used to rely on stopped working.
Practices that once held me began to feel hollow.
Identities I had built could no longer carry my weight.
So I let them go ….. let them die and not because I wanted to, but because my body would not move forward with them.
Taking the vow of a Nagkma last year didn’t give me clarity but it removed my ability to pretend.
It asked me to live devotion without an audience.
To let discipline shape my days.
To let practice touch how I work, how I relate, how I speak, how I choose.
What remains now is not a role.
It’s a function.
I am here to act as a bridge …
between land and body,
between culture and lived experience,
between devotion and ordinary life.
As a Nepalese woman, this isn’t conceptual for me.
Depth lives in my nervous system.
Land is not just a metaphor.
Lineage is not aesthetic.
I spent years trying to translate myself into spaces that could not hold this weight.
Now I understand ….. I was never meant to translate.
I was meant to carry.
I’m not ready to turn this into work yet.
I’m not ready to explain it.
I’m only ready to place the intention back into the soil it comes from.
To the Himalayas.
To the land where practice was lived with consequence.
Where awakening was not promised but it was earned.
I’m not asking for expansion.
I’m asking for correctness.
For restraint.
For timing that cannot be rushed without cost.
This is not an offering.
It’s not an announcement.
It’s a vow learning how to walk.
I’m letting it take its first breath.
Thank you for being here ,
Sara
