🌿 Your sauna ritual is only as good as the habits around it.
Getting into the sauna is the easy part — but are you doing it right? A few simple dos and don'ts can make the difference between a good session and a GREAT one. Here's your quick guide: 👇
✅ DO: Wear minimal clothing, like a clean towel Less is more in the sauna. A clean towel keeps things hygienic and lets the heat do its job properly — no thick fabrics blocking the benefits.
✅ DO: Remove all metal accessories Rings, necklaces, watches — take them all off. Metal heats up fast and can cause burns. Leave the jewellery outside. 🚫💍
❌ DON'T: Overstay your comfort level The sauna is powerful — respect it. Start with 10–15 minute sessions and listen to your body. Pushing through discomfort isn't toughness, it's a risk. Build up gradually.
❌ DON'T: Eat right before your session Your body needs energy to digest food and regulate heat at the same time — that's a tough combo. Wait at least 1–2 hours after eating before stepping in.
❌ DON'T: Forget to rehydrate You're sweating out a LOT of fluid. Drink water before, during, and after your session. Electrolytes are even better. 💧
❌ DON'T: Skip the shower after You've just released a load of toxins through your skin — rinse them off! A cool or lukewarm shower after also helps close your pores and leaves you feeling absolutely refreshed. 🚿
Sauna the right way, and your body will thank you every single time. ⛺🔥
