আজ প্রথমবার একা Evening Duty Doctor হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করলাম। 🩺
Never thought I’d have to declare my first death today 🙂
যখন ওনার pulse check করছিলাম, বারবার মনে হচ্ছিল, ইশ! একটু pulse যেন পাই..একবার যদি BP পাওয়া যেত! বারবার মনে হচ্ছিল, যদি আর একবারও কোনো sign of life খুঁজে পেতাম! কিন্তু আফসোস, কিছু বাস্তবতা মেনে নেওয়া ছাড়া আর কিছুই করার থাকে না।

চিকিৎসাবিজ্ঞানের সব চেষ্টা, সব আশা একসময় থেমে যায় জীবনের কাছে। একজন মানুষকে হারানোর সেই মুহূর্তে চিকিৎসক হয়েও মনের ভেতর কোথাও একটা অসহায়ত্ব কাজ করে।
At the end of the day, জীবন-মৃত্যু আমাদের হাতে নেই, শেষ মুহূর্ত পর্যন্ত চেষ্টা করে যাওয়াটুকুই শুধু আমাদের হাতে আছে ..🩺
