How do we redefine care to care for the whole person?
And how do we close the gap between what we say about person-centred care and how care is actually delivered? What needs to change within our systems — not just in our language or treatment, but in the way care is designed and experienced?
I am very much looking forward to exploring these questions at the European Women Cancer Assembly 2026, through a conversation bringing together expert panelists and lived experience.
This is a topic particularly close to my heart — as a patient advocate, thriver, carer and cancer coach, supporting the person behind the patient to live with dignity, agency, meaning, connection and quality of life.
But this conversation cannot be whole without the voices of those who see the need for change and experience its gaps firsthand. Whether you are a patient, survivor, healthcare professional, researcher, caregiver or advocate, your perspective matters. Come and be part of the conversation.
