I am a mother of two grown children and wife to my best friend. I love living in the moment.

I am on a never ending journey of self-discovery and often fall but always get back up. I am definitely a work in progress and each day is a learning experience.

Help...I need answers.

I wasn't sure if I should be running the dehydrator full of hot peppers indoors with the dog. How much will it smell my house up? Will it cause issues with burning eyes or nose or affect breathing?

To be safe I am running the first batch outside.

I'm looking for recipes!

I have always loved gardening but have never grown food. This year I decided to try my luck with peppers. I planted way too many and will be sharing with friends and family.

Here are my first chili peppers.

I can't wait for the other varieties to be ready. Now to figure out what to do with all of them. My dehydrator will be working overtime.

Please share your hot sauce or preserving recipes for the following peppers.

Dendrophile or Nemophilist?

I believe I am both!

What happened to being called a tree-hugger or nature-lover.

I was the little girl who came home with rocks in my pockets and sticks in my hands. I was happier playing in the creek or climbing a tree then I ever was playing dolls or house.

I am now 50 and I am still this girl! I love my hands in the soil, walking in the forest, relaxing under a tree and I still love rocks (crystals and gems).

Getting out and spending time in nature the last few weekends has made such a difference in my mindset and energy levels. I look forward and get excited about getting out in nature and actually taking the time to enjoy it. I am truly grateful for new adventures.
