You canβt believe everything you see on the internet. The advice, the pictures, the perfectly curated lives that make it look like everyone has it all figured out. Spoiler alert: they donβt. π
As a mom with a busy life, balancing family, work, fitness and taking time for myself isnβt always easy. Sometimes something has to give, and thatβs okay.
I took this week off. Training for my fight put me a little behind in the rest of life, and I needed a week to catch up. We carved pumpkins (Iβll share the REAL pumpkins in the comments π), spent time on things I hadnβt gotten around to, ate some of the not-so-healthy food, maybe had a few drinks, and just enjoyed life a little. And guess what? Thatβs okay too!
Monday, Iβll be back at it. Will I be perfect? Absolutely not. Will I have days where life gets busy, motivation disappears, I miss a workout or eat something that doesnβt fit my plan? You bet!
But thatβs real life. Success isnβt about being perfect or never missing a workout. Itβs about showing up, making adjustments, and getting back to it even when life throws a few bumps in the road.
If youβre waiting for the perfect time, the perfect schedule or the perfect version of yourself to get started, stop waiting.
Letβs make a plan together that you can actually stick toβ¦ for the most part. π One that fits your life, leaves room for the fun stuff, and helps you reach your goals without feeling like youβre constantly starting over.
Message me. Letβs get started! β€οΈ
Progress, not perfection.
