Since childhood I have been obsessed with mycelium…. But alas us 80’s babies had commercials even telling us to not touch…. So I waited and studied, and now the mushrooms seek me. I am absolutely thrilled that amanita decided to surround the crystal dome this year ✨🍄 the Fayeries for sure had some say……

Last Castlegar Downtown market this year! We are gunna go out with a bang, lots of family fun, live music and much more ✨ Come visit me this Saturday Oct 3rd at The Station Museum for our harvest market to end the season. Market runs from 12pm-4pm. I will have my Roots & Flora Farm baking and herbal products plus of course some gemstones 🙌…..

So this year I have felt inspired by my travels, led by intuition I am feeling the creativity from what I have acquired on my travels this summer. Black Tahitian Pearls are super rare to get ahold of and I happen to find a strand, and also black pearl shell inlay beads. Coyote and bison teeth I would also like to incorporate into my designs, these came from a Lakota man in Port Townsend. I also have some beads I got a few years ago that came from New Mexico they are formed in the mouths of shamans…. I know it seems strange but they are these incredible clay bird beads that the natives form in their mouths during ceremonies. I have also a collection of gemstones from BC and the Kootenays that would like to incorporate. This is going to be a very special collection as it has been in the making for years of travels ✨
