Many of you have been asking what my plan is for Fall classes. Truth is, I have no plan!

I know I was MIA from this page over summer. I spent the summer nursing this broken ankle and all around feeling sorry for myself.

While I am finally walking again, it will be a while yet before I can run and jump. I started back with my one-on-one clients this week and will be spending the next couple of months focusing my attention on them and getting my own fitness back.

If you are interested in private training, let me know. I am happy to offer discounts on personal training to all of my bootcamp clients.

Bootcamp Update:
Happy Sunday! Just a reminder of classes this week. Monday and Wednesday at 9:30.
The forecast for both days looks like it will be dry so both classes will be held outdoors at the playground beside the Rec Centre.

Wowzers! What a hot day! I got scorched!!
The sun will continue to shine this week so Bootcamp will be outdoors tomorrow.
For Monday we will be in the field beside the playground at the Rec Center.
Reminder, there is no class on Wednesday. Who is up for another 5-6km walk/run on Wednesday instead?

It is gorgeous outside and the forecast looks great! Both classes will be held outdoors.

Monday we will be at the beach (across the street from the Rec Centre).

Wednesday's class will be at the playground beside the Rec Centre.

Great morning Bootcamp class outside in the beautiful sunshine!

I am so excited that the weather has warmed up and we can now enjoy the great outdoors and some of the playgrounds around town!

Thinking of joining us? Stop thinking about it and just do it!

Classes are Monday and Wednesday mornings at 9:30am. Kids and babies are always welcome!

Push-up challenge: yesterday there were a few in the group that made the personal goal of 100 push-ups by end of the day! Through peer support and friendly challenges many reached their goal and a few even exceeded it! Way to go ladies!!
Do you want in on the challenge? It doesn't matter how many push-ups you can (or think you can't) do. It's all about pushing yourself and progress! Comment on this status if you want to join us!!

Push-up Challenge Update - I have started a separate group for all these push-ups! It is a private group and I have added everyone that said they want to join. If I missed you, let me know and I will have you added.

Bootcamp update:
What a change one week can make! Last week I was so excited for our first outdoor class and this week I am grateful for indoor space available!!

Spring Bootcamp starts Monday!!

Classes are Monday and Wednesday at 9:30am from April 18 to May 30! There will be no class on May 4 and May 23.

If the amazing forecast is accurate we will start classes outside soon!

So very true.

No, your friend/sister/mother-in-law/neighbour (etc) did NOT lose three pounds of fat in two days. Or ten pounds in a week. And on and on the stories go.

Anyone who loses weight that quickly has lost water weight. It's a trick of the diet trade, to put someone on a low carb diet so that the body sheds water very quickly.

It's water and it will be back by no fault of yours. But the diet guru will be pointing the finger at you for the failure... As they slide you their next diet book. ;)

We will be doing our monthly timed challenge Monday morning so get to bed early, fuel up with a great breakfast and be ready to beat last month's time!

We are finally moved, settling in, and healthy again. I am looking forward to Bootcamp this week and seeing all your lovely faces!

As our group is growing, we are experiencing a shortage of yoga mats for our floor work and end of class stretches. If you have a mat, please bring it with you to class.

Located at the Chestermere Recreation Centre

New for 2016 - I am going to require everyone to pre-register for classes to ensure that I have enough attendees to run the class.
