It's Monday, probably the most difficult day to get motivated to get moving. If you're reading this take a moment to get moving with the following:
25 jumping jacks
30 seconds of jogging on the spot
10 squats
10 push ups (on your knees or feet)
10 lunges on each leg

IT IS ALMOST THE WEEKEND!! Be sure to get out there and be active over the weekend! It's a little too easy to allow our couches to swallow us up for the weekend. The weather is starting to warm up (a little bit at least), the sun is shining more frequently, and we are able to get out and walk, hike, or cycle with more ease. These are great ways to spend time with family or friends or to simply de-stress from a busy week on your own.

Many people are now using standing workstations or sit/stand workstations. However, be aware that it is just as important to pay attention to your posture while standing as it is while sitting.
Some key points to remember when standing:
-use an anti-fatigue mat if you'll be standing for long periods of time
-keyboard should be at elbow height or very slightly below
-standing upright with a neutral spine
-keep arms at your sides with elbows at 90 degrees while typing (you should not be reaching forward for your keyboard)
-your eyeliner should fall within the top 1/3 of your monitor
