My passion lies in spiritual healing and nature, as found within plant medicine, rituals, and holistic healing ♥️
While massage is a valuable tool I use as a healer, these new focuses align more with who I am and how I can help others.
I'm a healer with many tools, and limiting myself to only being an RMT was putting me in a tight box. It was going to come crashing one way or another! Hence, the injury that led me to new teachers 🧚🏼♀️
Keep following along because this shift is only getting started xo 🌠
Reel 1/2
Massage therapy has been a deep love of mine, but sharing it outside of work never felt quite aligned as I am not solving an individual problem!
Head on over to reel 2 for the rest of my little love note about my social media shift 💗
See how easy it is to forage your own fresh food?
The flavors are sooo much better than anything store bought, and the food is alive, which means it's loading you up with energy!
Try it, you won't regret it 😘
Show some nature love '♡' & follow for more wild foraging 🌿
Or... maybe you suppressed or ignored the first one...
Either way, the second time around is apparently the harder one! Because the universe wants you to really listen to your path and heal, babes! 🩷
What's a spiritual awakening?
☆ It's when we realize there's a call to higher consciousness and a state of deeper mental awareness. This process typically shifts your worldview, transforming you on a personal level and shifting your mindset a ton!
How does one have one?
☆ Start doing the work for self-discovery, question EVERYTHING, but question it to a state of love. Engage in meditation, prayer, research, and spiritual practices.
What does it feel like?
☆ Ha! Like a storm. It isn’t like that for everyone, though, but it’s also finding that ‘bliss’ and feeling like you’re a part of something. It's about healing in great ways.
Mine personally wasn't a storm as I was living in a storm already. Mine was my peace within my life, finding my intuition, connecting to nature, caring for myself through healing foods, and so on. It just depends on what you're going through 🩷 I've also been a magical fairy 🧚🏼♀️ so I never questioned it, I just needed to find my practices and understand my place!

If you're one of the many on a spiritual awakening right now, I'm sending you such healing energy and a big YOU GO MAGICAL SOUL👏

Letting go and trusting the journey 🌎
Maybe it's surrendering
Maybe it's trusting
Or
Maybe you're healing
Either one, you released the tension in your mind and the sadness in your heart
Because letting go isn't about giving up. It's about allowing you to be.. just be.
And you...deserve the calmness in which that space brings.
You don't deserve the spinning thoughts or the sadness that comes with it
~ learn any lessons that may need to be taught but then release & heal from it because you deserve it 🩷
Let's build a healing community here and show me a follow ✨️💛
But he's not spiritual like me...and that's okay! 🧘♀️
When I first met my partner, he didn't know a single thing about spiritual work, plant medicine, or rituals. But he stayed open! That's the KEY.
He was interested to hear about my passions, even if it wasn't who he was at first.
Now, he’s in love with finding himself, learning about plants, and watching the magic around me, which shows him that the work I do is legit! 🌿
It's amazing what happens when we allow ourselves to remain open-minded about our partner's way of life.
If you're in this limbo, you can try practicing date nights/days that incorporate each other's interests!
These experiences can be incredibly bonding and fun! Something we would do is go play basketball and then pick some herbs on our walk home 👏 or allow Matt to play while I listen to a podcast 📚
We've ended up being each other’s spiritual guides, helping one another grow in our differences in such unexpected ways. We’ve discovered new things about ourselves and deepened our connection in the process. ❤️
The key is to have FREEDOM in your relationship to be yourself. No matter the differences. Follow my page and I'll keep encouraging you on this spiritual journey ✨️
Have you started to work with herbs in a more magical way yet? ✨️
Let me explain a bit more about each of these herbs and why they have these qualities ✨️
° yarrow (Achillea millefolium)
🍃 was used in some cultures as an amulet to ward of negative energy and other evils. In other cultures, it was hanging in their homes.
° mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris)
🍃 This herb is used in dream state rituals - known as the gate keepers on the dream world. Use this herb to upgrade your dreaming into lucid dreams or healing in dreams
° old man's beard (Usnea)
🍃 the elderly man who lives in the forest asks for his wisdom as he's lived a long life with many experiences! If you have questions, seek from usnea and see what wisdom may arrive!
° juniper (juniperus communis)
🍃 This herb is a great tool to keep your space and yourself purified from negative energies! Either smudge it, drink it, or simply meditate with it
And remember, always give gratitude to these wise and magical herbs for all that they do for us! Nature is our friend, so give thanks 💙

Ending the week with some energy resetting by taking a spiritual bath filled with women's health and mood lifting herbs 🌿 ✨️
Seriously, baths heal soooo much sometimes!! comment below and share with us if you have any bath rituals that you do 👏
Hehe, just moving my body on a walk to pick some herbs instead of sitting for hours in a waiting room
There's a lot of freedom and comfort in learning about herbs! Some of these are:
a) know how to properly research for my own health and for my family!
b) Don't need to go to the doctor unless it's someti
Hints more advanced than me, and in my experience It has just forced me to learn things I didn't know I could on my own. I end up healing myself before my doctor even gets to see me.
C) A sense of safety, this one is huge!
D) Not adding chemicals to my body 👏
Plus, walking outside to go pick your own medicine is unique and healing on its own 🌎

I'm sharing with you my simple daily ritual bath to balance your masculine & feminine energy!
The focus here is to help balance these energies at the end of your day! Wake up in a balanced state so you have a fresh and energizing day 💪 you can also do this at any time :)
Light two tea candles
🕯 one for your masculine energy and one for your feminine energy.
Gather 2 bay leaves, non broken!
🍃 Use one bay leaf as an offering to the sacred water to assist in balancing your energies and another bay leaf as an offering to the universe for additional support.
Once in the bath, give your two offerings, and then activate each candle with something simple such as "I bring back and restore my masculine energy" and again for the feminine!
Reflect while soaking in the bath
🌠 Where are you unable to express your feminine side? Where are you forced to hide this part of you? Or overused? Send healing energy to these moments, such as compassion, softness, or grounding.
🌠 If you're unable to use or even have to overuse your masculine side, then send strength, power, and stability to those moments.
When you're done, make sure you call back your energy as balanced but as the highest frequency of light and returns to you only with love ❤️
This can be used in many ways, for example: feminine/masculine or light/dark energies
I think i'll start sharing more simple rituals, so follow me @theforagingrose so I can share with you all of my learnings and experiences I have!

Seaweed is blowing up, but why aren't we telling the full story?....fine, I will 🧚🏼♀️ because we all deserve the superfood -> seaweed. and to avoid more 🗑 🚮 in our systems.
• A lot of seaweed has little to no medicinal value. Your roasted nori is most likely rancid and not a healthy snack choice!! And this leads me to the next point 👉
• If seaweed isn't taken off of what it is growing on, then it is already dying, dead, or alive but could be coming from very polluted waters.
So, here's how to actually add seaweed into your diet
-> find a trusted company who: doesn't over harvest, sources from clean waters, gathers there seaweed ethically, and does their own cutting (cutting seaweed off rocks, sand beds..)
-> forage your own: (yay!) If cutting, avoid cutting close to attachment site so you aren't harming what is called a holdfast to allow regrowth, make sure the water is clean from pollution, and cut from multiple sections or rocks so it is spaced out!
-> fresh seaweed can be eaten raw, pickled, broths, ferment, or dehydrated on a low setting!
So, follow my page @theforagingrose for more summer seaweed adventures & education 🤓
Are you someone whose chronic pain has good days and bad days?
See below my 5 tips to help those bad days feel a spark of good ❤️
1. Preparedness is Key:
Stock up on easy-to-reach snacks and meals for those tough days – because taking care of yourself shouldn't be a struggle. Snacks that are healthy, but also a few that make you the happiest!
2. Hydration Helpers:
Keep things interesting with natural flavored waters or sugar-free drinks to stay hydrated because sometimes a little flavor goes a long way in keeping you going! Keeping things like mint or cucumber in your fridge or oranges for more of a fruity taste! 🍊
3. Indulge in bathtub healing:
Keep a place for healing ingredients like dead sea salt, Himalayan salt, or Epsom salt and pair it with a peppermint bubble bath mix or essential oil for relaxation and health 👏
4. Mental Escape Route:
Escape the cycle of negativity... Have a selection of audiobooks or podcasts, name it your "mental sanctuary" - this will help distract you and pull you out of your head when you're focused on someone else talking 💝. Bonus points if it is the topic of your chronic pain and they're validating what you're going through ❤️
5. Stretching Sanctuary:
Create a designated space in your home for gentle stretching sessions, even if it's just lying on the ground and easing into simple stretches – because every little movement can help, even if it is super slow and very mild ✨️
I hope these help you and that the next day you have a bad day you're more prepared to give yourself lots of love 💝💝 if anyone has any other tips I would love to know!
Here are the top five herbs you can forage this early spring!
Remember to not over harvest, but most of these are quite invasive, so there should be lots!
I've added what parts you can use, how to use them for wild food, and a very basic overview of their medicinal benefits.
1: Dandelion
~ leaves, roots & flowering tops
~ digestion, liver, immune system
☕️ coffee (roots), salads (flowers & leaves), juices (leaves)
2: Japanese knotweed
~ young shoots
~ mouth problems, anti-inflammatory
🥗 sauté, pickled, salads
3: Ground ivy
~ flowering tops, leaves & stems
~ lungs, stomach, joints
🍹 salads, soup, mocktails
4: Garlic mastard
~ leaves & young stems
~ heart health, blood & cancer
🥘 use as flavor or make into pesto
5: Burdock
~ Young leaves
~ blood, skin problems
🧃 Bitter tasting, so pair with something sweet if desired. Salad, fresh juices
Give these a try! I would love to know if anyone has any good recipes or is going to try any of these?!

Let us blossom into radiant vessels of healing and love TOGETHER!
🫶 S H I F T S
I'm witnessing noticeable shifts in our communities, but a struggle of accepting comes attached. If we embrace them with love and openness, then it can ease the feelings of turbulence and discomfort.
These changes manifest in various aspects like evolving job roles, businesses redefining their brand and impact, healers transitioning to different modalities, and loved ones embracing authenticity.
However, it's natural to feel distressed or confused with these changes, such as losing friendships, familiar practitioners, or job titles. Yet, embracing love and openness can help us navigate its discomfort. If you can embrace the change with love you're not only attracting postive thoughts to yourself but also supporting the ones changing- which is usually when they need it the most!
Humans increasingly rely on others for daily needs, such as with; cooking our meals, growing our foods, caring for our bodies, or over stressing others workloads. (Not that this is a bad thing but what if we didn't have too?)
If you have been paying attention to others lack of availability, exhaustion, change in ways they do things then you have been potentially been noticing their burnout - or shall we say, not being in alignment.
Perhaps these shifts we are seeing are brining us teachers who will guide us back to universal unity with showing us things like how to feed ourselves without scarcity (or dept), empowering us to care for our own mental health, teaching us the knowledge to heal our bodies and or advocate for our journeys in however way that may be.
Teachers who understand that your 'education' is not something to be trapped in $$$$ class rooms but that it is knowledge that should be shared openly, ways of life to bring you freedom verse relying on the system
We have a long way to go - but I hope this message finds you into thoughts on where your body is holding onto such feelings or maybe give some encouragement. Change can mean growth even if it does
Last year was a total crash in the water! but this year the sun is rising and the water is calm ✨️
Let's remember to send gratitude to the hard lessons, love to the wounds, and joy into the future ✨️
