The benefits of manual therapy (or body work) are structural but as well have long lasting effects on the health of our whole person.
🇨🇦 Happy Canada Day 🇨🇦
"On June 22[nd], 1874, I flung to the breeze the banner of Osteopathy. For twenty-three years it has withstood the storms, cyclones, and blizzards of opposition. Her threads are stronger to-day than when the banner was first woven. Her colors have grown so bright that millions now begin to see and admire and seek shelter under her protecting folds from disease and death. Mothers and fathers come by legions, and ask why this flag was not thrown to the breeze before.
It has taken many years to prepare the ground to sow the seeds of this as well as any other truth that has come to benefit man; so be patient, have faith in [A Higher Power] and the final triumph of truth, and all will end well."
- Dr. Andrew Taylor Still, Autobiography of Andrew T. Still, 1897

If a school requires you to have a license in a previous modality before starting their program, be careful.
Sometimes, this is less about your prerequisite knowledge and more about the possibility that the school does not have insurance for their classrooms and clinic and requires their students to carry their own.
At the CAO our classrooms and clinics are fully insured. This means students do not have to have their own liability insurance to participate in the program!
As the CAO grows, our class sizes don’t!
Instead of increasing class size, we add extra cohorts so that each group can be a tight-knit family of its own. This leads to improved understanding of the material and superior graduate outcome.
"Simple Lines Anatomy" App, developed by CAO Graduate and Professor Lee Jarvis. Custom Practice Quizzes and visual study aids makes it easy to study anatomy!
In light of the outbreak we are reducing the price of our anatomy app
Simple Lines Anatomy
from $25 to $1 USD for a period of 1 month (until April 25th).
We hope this helps you pass the time with some effective learning.
