Mission Services of Hamilton

We stand in solidarity with Black communities, protesters, and protectors across Canada and the U.S. The violent deaths of Regis Korchinski-Paquet, George Floyd, Tony McDade, Breonna Taylor, and many others at the hands of police are abhorrent and unacceptable. The history of police brutality and state violence against Black and Indigenous people in Canada and the U.S. is not history—it is ongoing.

As we provide emergency housing, food assistance, addictions treatment, and support for survivors of intimate partner violence, we know that we cannot end poverty and violence in our communities while racism persists.

As suggested by SACHA, here are some organizations doing incredible anti-racist work in Hamilton. Please consider supporting them, either financially if you are able, or by following their pages and getting to know their work.

Employment solutions for Hamiltonians.

PATH Employment Services has been around for 48 years, so we know a thing or 2 about how to find, get and keep jobs in Hamilton. Our dedicated staff work tirelessly on behalf of our clients to connect them with meaningful employment solutions. We’re not interested in temporary work that pays the bills today, we’d much rather connect people with the work they can feel good about and sustain for years to come. We’re vitally interested in assisting people with disabilities who may face barriers to finding employment and have carved out a full spectrum of services geared specifically towards this. We specialize in Disability awareness, accessibility, disability disclosure and advocacy for our clients. We look forward to working with and on behalf of all Hamiltonians.

This service is funded in part by the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario.
