🚨 FACTS ABOUT CPR: KNOW IT, LEARN IT, SAVE A LIFE! ❤️

Did you know that CPR can help save someone's life during cardiac arrest?

Here are 7 important facts about CPR everyone should know!

1️⃣ CPR means Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. It is an emergency procedure used when someone's heart stops pumping blood effectively.

2️⃣ Every second counts! Immediate CPR can help maintain blood flow to the brain and other vital organs.

3️⃣ You don't need to be a healthcare professional to help. Bystanders can perform hands-only CPR on an adult who suddenly collapses and is unresponsive.

4️⃣ Know the correct compression rate! For adults, push hard and fast in the centre of the chest at 100–120 compressions per minute.

5️⃣ Don't be afraid to act! If an adult suddenly collapses, is unresponsive, and is not breathing normally or is only gasping, call emergency services and begin CPR.

6️⃣ An AED can save a life! An Automated External Defibrillator can analyse the heart rhythm and deliver a shock when needed. Use it as soon as it is available and follow its instructions.

7️⃣ CPR is not only for adults. Children and infants may also need CPR, but the technique differs. Get appropriate training to learn how to respond correctly.

⚠️ WHAT TO DO IN AN EMERGENCY:
✅ Check if the person responds.
✅ Call emergency services (911 in Canada and the USA).
✅ Ask someone to get an AED.
✅ Start chest compressions if the person is unresponsive and not breathing normally.
✅ Continue until help takes over or the person shows signs of life and breathes normally.

❤️ Remember: Your willingness to act could save a life. Learn CPR today!

YES! Treatment may include psychotherapy, medication when appropriate, and ongoing support from mental health professionals.

5️⃣ How should you help someone?
✅ Listen calmly and respectfully.
✅ Avoid mocking, arguing aggressively, or reinforcing the delusion.
✅ Encourage professional mental health assessment.
