Reminder for Menstrual Awareness Week!🩸

Thanks to the Commission of Environmental Sustainability and the Sustainable Action Fund, we will be providing a FREE menstrual cup or reusable menstrual pad (while supplies last) for every box of pads/tampons donated (max 1 product). We are also able to answer any questions you may have regarding menstruation and the topic of period poverty! All period product donations will be given to the AMS Food Bank to further give back to Queen’s Students!

If you prefer to pick up/donate at a discreet location, fill out this form! (Link is in our bio)

🧑‍⚕️ The Serghides Lab in Toronto, Canada is working to optimize drug therapies for HIV in women and their infants. Their research is providing a more equitable approach to maternal and infant health outcomes, as well as working to provide effective interventions to reduce HIV transmission.

🏨 It is a human right to have adequate access to healthcare. Unfortunately, far too many pregnant women in Canada are forced to travel to urban areas in order to give birth due to a lack of access to birthing and medical services. This fact disproportionally affects Indigenous women, but Health Canada’s Birth Evacuation Policy and the National Aboriginal Council of Midwives are seeking to change this.
