I have changed this recipe a little: DIY toothpaste: Items needed: 6 Tbs coconut oil (organic if you have it) 6 Tbs baking soda 1 teaspoon (or more) sea salt) 1 teaspoon calcium carbonate 10-20 drops of doTERRA essential oils Glass container with lid to mix and store Scoop coconut oil into container and mix in baking soda. Add in essential oils- I used 5 drops onguard and 10-15 drops peppermint. Mix and you're done! So easy and leaves mouth very refreshed! Need oils? I’ve been struggling with my allergies since May! Constantly blowing my nose and often getting terrible sinus pain and stuffiness. Allergy meds didn’t touch them.My oils came in and I gave them a try. Relief at last!! I slept amazing last night and didn’t even have to blow my nose this morning. So refreshed and feeling great! I used a drop of peppermint and lime, rubbed them together on my hands, inhaled the scent a few times, put my thumb on the roof of my mouth and rubbed the oils there and the rest on my chest and shoulders. Even my husband who has a deviated septum said that he slept better without as much sinus pressure last night. 🙂
