1st ANNIVERSARY! 1 October 2021 Karen De Luca assumed ownership of ROVING DENTAL HYGIENE. It has been an amazing year, an education to say the least! We have grown with the help and guidance of so many people and I feel so very fortunate to be able to help the many that cannot access regular dental care. The response from the communities I serve has been wonderful, the appreciation and knowing I can make a difference for these folks is the biggest reward. I look forward to the second year with excitement and enthusiasm.

Do you see the bright white areas along the gumline? This is often what I see in long-term care homes. The food and plaque collect along the gumline and it is not brushed away. The white areas eventually darken and turn into cavities. Luckily for this individual, I was called in time to discuss with the family how to brush more effectively and prevent this from occuring.
