I moved cities for the first time in 29 years. I expanded my business. Made new friends, and met Adam who makes me happier than you could ever imagine. This wouldn’t have happened if I managed to stay somewhere where I felt “comfortable” - Great things never came from comfort zones 🌈

Over here making the best out of this quarantine with what I’ve got, in order to prepare for prep that is upcoming. Low key excited, this is the best I’ve looked during an off season since I started bodybuilding.

Why? Because I chose to live that lifestyle. You can’t blame anyone but yourself for the decisions you decide to make. But you can be the person to turn that around and live the life you’ve always wanted ♥️

It hasn’t been easy. You don’t know others life stories or what they have gone through to be where they are now, but I can confidently say that when I look in the mirror today, I have a body I love, and I am happy and healthy.

As a coach, trust me when I say “cheat meals taste better when they are deserved”

My face says it all 😋
Weeks of depletion.
Depriving myself of my favourite foods.
Countless hours in the gym.
Pushing my body to its maximum limits.

Food soothes the soul. As soon as you’re depriving yourself of some sort of food you know you can’t or shouldn’t have, you will naturally want it more 🐷

We want what we can’t have 🍟🍔🍕🥪🌮

But your body will try to work against you ❌

It’ll test you. “Maybe if I do cardio, I can work off that pizza I’m gonna eat tonight” - and because of that mindset you cave. You then wake up with regret and try to work 10x harder to work off those calories. Which then can lead to frustration and over working your body.

Remember good whole foods are your FUEL. The energy you need. It’s the weight loss trick you’ve been searching for all along💡

That being said, enjoy your favourite foods in moderation!! Balance is 🔑 However, next time you are looking to cheat on your diet, ask yourself, “Did I work hard enough this week to deserve that cheat meal?” Because you can’t outwork a bad diet 👊🏼

These photos are from 2018-2020. 2 years of hard work, a clean structured diet and a mindset to get me to where I wanted to be with my fitness goals.

People will say I looked great in the first photo, and you are right! There was nothing wrong with me! But I was tiny. I had no muscle mass and it was hard for me to maintain growth because I didn’t have the work ethic I do now, especially being a bodybuilder. It’s taken me time, education and a mindset to be where I am now.

Again, results DO NOT happen over night. Fitness is a lifestyle you need to keep up with long term if you are looking to make significant changes in your appearance and mindset.

Think about this. If you start now, think of how much closer you’ll be a year from now to reaching your fitness and health goals? What about 2 years?

Being where I am in life now has been a long journey coming. Things didn’t come to me this easily. What you see of me on social media is just a fracture of the woman I am today.

People look up to me. They see me as their coach. A role model. Someone they inspire to be. But what a lot of people don’t understand is what I’ve gone through in order to be the girl you now see on social media.

During my college years, I hit rock bottom. My mental health was at a all time low. I was a party girl. I was into drugs. I relied on alcohol to numb the pain. I was in a toxic relationship that destroyed my self-confidence. I stopped playing sports and I even dropped out of college. But enough was enough, and seeking professional help was the next big step to changing the girl who I had become.

In all honesty, after what I delt with, fitness is what truly saved me. I got a membership. I got back into sports. I finished college, and I used fitness as an outlet to improve my happiness and my mental health to become the girl I inspired to be (Which is helping others♥️) Giving them tools and resources to be the best version of themselves.

My background in CYW allows me to connect with others on a emotional perspective. A lot of people look at fitness as what they want to look on the outside, not knowing that making lifestyle changes with your health and fitness goals can be more than just the physical aspect.

Seeing my clients succeed brings joy to me. Seeing them crush their goals. Seeing them have a good relationship with food. Seeing them LOVE themselves again. That is what drives me. When my clients are happy, that’s when I know I’ve done my job.

If you asked me if I thought I would be where I am today back then, I would be laughing in your face. That being said, I wouldn’t change what I’ve gone through because it made me strong, and led me to where I am in life today. A girl with a healthy body, a healthier mindset and a business with a amazing group of individuals learning to create healthy lifestyle changes themselves that they will maintain for the rest of their lives 💜
