With Graves’ disease, getting your thyroid numbers into range is only part of the picture.

There’s more to consider than just T3 and T4.

Medication can play an important role in managing Graves’ disease, but your wider health deserves attention, too.

This can include medication side effects, digestion and nutrient status, stress, lifestyle, and even deeper patterns that may be influencing how you feel.

Because you are MORE than your thyroid results. 🤍

🔎 This is where my whole-self approach comes in.

I look BEYOND individual symptoms to explore what else may be going on — including the patterns and blind spots that can be difficult to recognise on your own.

Sometimes, it’s not about doing more. It’s about understanding what you haven’t yet considered.

✨ Want to explore what else may be relevant to YOUR thyroid health?

DM me THYROID
or book a Clarity Call through the link in my bio.

Your health journey deserves an approach that considers the whole of you — and respects your choices.

The older I get, the less interested I am in forcing things.

Forcing outcomes.

Forcing healing.

Forcing answers.

Forcing myself to keep going when every part of me is telling me to stop.

So many women I work with have spent years living in GO mode.

Pushing.

Performing.

Holding everything together.

Trying harder.

Being the strong one.

And eventually, the body starts pushing back.

The fatigue gets harder to ignore.
The anxiety gets louder.
The symptoms become harder to override.

Not because your body is working against you.

But because something needs to change.

Sometimes we just need to slow down enough to actually tune in and listen.

To create enough space to notice what’s really going on — instead of immediately trying to fix, push through or override it.

And to bring more JOY, PLAY and REST into our lives.

🔍 This is also something I explore with my clients — because sometimes the reason you can’t slow down isn’t simply that you don’t know you should.

We unpack the patterns that keep you in GO mode, so you can actually SEE what you’ve been running on and why it’s been so hard to do things differently.

And yes, I genuinely ask my clients about their HOBBIES.

Not just what they used to enjoy.

What do you actually DO that brings you joy?

Because healing isn’t only about everything you’re taking away or changing.

Your body also needs experiences that feel GOOD. 🫶

🩵 What brings YOU peace and joy these days?

I’d love to hear in the COMMENTS.

Hair loss can feel heartbreaking.

You wash your hair and see it in the drain.

You brush it and wonder where half your ponytail went.

You start buying supplements, shampoos and treatments hoping one of them will finally be the answer.

Sometimes they help.

Sometimes they don’t.

Because hair loss isn’t always a hair problem.

A few things I commonly investigate in women with thyroid concerns are:

🩵 Ferritin
🩵 Fasting insulin
🩵 Free T3

But here’s what I want women to understand…

The goal isn’t just to find another supplement.

It’s to understand WHY your body is struggling to grow healthy hair in the first place.

⚠️ Something really important to know about hair loss:

The hair you’re losing TODAY may be connected to something that happened MONTHS AGO.

With some types of hair shedding, particularly telogen effluvium, there can be a delay of around 2–3 MONTHS between the trigger and when you actually notice the increased shedding.

So an illness, period of significant stress, nutritional issue, hormonal change or thyroid disruption may have happened well before you started seeing handfuls of hair in the shower.

And once you identify what your body needs and start addressing it, you still need to give your hair time.

Hair growth doesn’t happen overnight.

It can take SEVERAL MONTHS to see meaningful changes, and fuller recovery can take around 6 months or longer depending on what’s driving the hair loss.

Which is why consistency matters.

Because two women can experience the exact same symptom and need completely different support.

That’s why I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all protocols.

I want to understand the whole picture of what’s happening in YOUR BODY, your history and your lifestyle.

A lot of women come to me feeling OVERWHELMED.

Not because they haven’t tried.

Not because they don’t care.

But because they’ve spent months (sometimes years) collecting information without knowing what actually applies to THEM.

✨ Go gluten free.
✨ Take these supplements.
✨ Fix your gut.
✨ Balance your hormones.
✨ Regulate your nervous system.

No wonder it feels confusing.

Most women I speak to aren’t lacking information.

They’re lacking CLARITY.

🩵 What matters most for MY body?
🩵 Where should I start?
🩵 What am I missing?
🩵 What should I focus on first?

Because thyroid health isn’t one-size-fits-all.

Two women can have the same diagnosis and need completely different support.

That’s why my approach looks beyond a diagnosis or a lab result and focuses on understanding the BIGGER PICTURE of what’s happening in YOUR body, your lifestyle, your history and your health.

When you have clarity, the process becomes a lot less overwhelming.

And that’s often where real progress begins.

Your thyroid becomes overactive after having a baby.

Is it Graves’?

Or could it be postpartum thyroiditis?

This is an important distinction because they can look similar on a blood test — but they’re not the same process.

With Graves’, the thyroid is being stimulated to produce too much thyroid hormone.

With postpartum thyroiditis, inflammation can cause stored thyroid hormone to leak into the bloodstream.

And postpartum thyroiditis can be especially confusing because it can start with a hyperthyroid phase — racing heart, anxiety, sweating, feeling wired, weight loss and insomnia — before moving into a hypothyroid phase with fatigue, brain fog, feeling cold, constipation and weight changes.

Not every woman experiences both phases, and symptoms can easily be dismissed as “just postpartum.” (American Thyroid Association)

That’s why if you’re experiencing new thyroid symptoms after pregnancy, I don’t want to look at one blood test or one symptom in isolation.

I want to understand the whole picture.

Your timing postpartum.

Your symptoms.

Your thyroid function.

Your antibodies.

Your history.

And then the wider factors that may be influencing how you’re feeling and recovering.

Because “your thyroid is overactive” isn’t always the end of the investigation.

Sometimes it’s the beginning.

One of the most common patterns I see in women with thyroid issues…

is chronic over-functioning.

Women carrying:
the emotional load
the mental load
the responsibility
the home
the relationship
the invisible labour
everyone else’s needs

…while slowly disconnecting from themselves in the process.

And often?

They’re not expressing how overwhelmed they really are.

Not because they’re weak.

Because somewhere along the way they learnt:
it’s easier to just do it themselves
having needs creates friction
asking for help leads to disappointment
keeping quiet keeps the peace

So they over-function instead.

And over time…

the body carries the pressure too.

This is the part I think is missing from so many thyroid conversations.

Because yes:
nutrition matters
supplements matter
labs matter

But so does:
how you communicate
how much you carry
whether you feel supported
whether your body ever truly gets to exhale
whether your needs exist in your own life too

And no —
this isn’t about blaming women.

It’s about helping them see the pattern clearly enough to finally change it.

Because awareness changes everything.

If this resonated deeply…

DM me “SHIFT”
and I’ll help you understand where this pattern may be showing up in your life.
