🐾 Meet Molly, Our Pet of the Month! 🐾

Our sweet 9-year-old American Cocker Spaniel came to see us after her family noticed a growing lump on her left ear. They made the great decision to have it checked, even though it wasn’t bothering her. 💙

Molly later returned for mass removal and a dental cleaning, and everything went smoothly! 💤🦷 After several follow-up visits for her Penrose drain and sutures, we’re so happy to say that Molly is back to being her happy self! 🥰🐶

💙 A special thank-you to Molly’s family! Their early attention, patience, and commitment to following our medical team’s instructions and attending follow-ups played an important role in Molly’s smooth recovery. 🐾✨

We’re so proud of this sweet girl! Keep being your happy self, Molly! 🐶💕

🔎 MYSTERY MONDAY: Tiny Tube vs. GIANT Tube! 🩺🐾

These are both endotracheal (ET) tubes — used to help maintain a patient’s airway while they’re under anesthesia.

But patients come in VERY different sizes… and apparently, so do their ET tubes. 😂

Why is choosing the correct ET tube size so important?

A) It helps create a secure airway for oxygen and anesthetic gas
B) It’s chosen based only on the patient’s weight
C) Bigger tubes mean the patient needs deeper anesthesia
D) The size doesn’t matter as long as the tube fits

Tomorrow is... 🐾🌎 World Animal Day! 🌎🐾

Today, we celebrate animals of all shapes and sizes and the joy, companionship, and unconditional love they bring into our lives!

World Animal Day is also a reminder that every animal deserves kindness, compassion, proper care, and a safe and healthy life. 💙

As pet parents, some of the ways we can make a difference include:

🐾 Providing regular veterinary care and wellness exams
🥕 Feeding a balanced, species-appropriate diet
🦷 Keeping up with dental care
💉 Staying up to date on vaccines and parasite prevention
🎾 Providing exercise, enrichment, and plenty of mental stimulation

🚨 PLOT TWIST: For once, Peanut is NOT the one behind bars. 😳

This time, it’s his girlfriend Sugar who has found herself in kitty jail. 😂💕 And naturally, Peanut had to stop by for visitation hours to make sure his girl is holding up okay.

We’re not sure what Sugar did to land herself in lockup… but considering the company she keeps, we have our suspicions. 👀
