That is the first key to a successful weight loss plan.

Choose the options to create a deficit based upon your lifestyle, preference and experience.

There is no "one size fits all" plan that everyone must follow for success.

Calories are King and Consistency is Queen.

Ensure you are eating nutrient-dense, dark colored vegetables with each meal! Vegetables naturally contain less sugar than fruit and should be eaten regularly.

If you are trying to lose weight or simply trying to eat healthier, don’t make it hard on yourself. Being healthy doesn’t mean going vegan, eating only raw foods or never eating sugar again.

Most grocery stores sell pre-cooked chickens, bagged salads and cut up fruit and veggie trays. Yogurt comes in single serving containers, as do eggs! There are also plenty of meal services now that will deliver all the ingredients you need, right to your door. All you have to do is throw it in a pan and cook it.

The point is, if you can make it easy to eat healthy, there’s a really good chance you will keep it up!

Think about the week ahead and decide what you need to do TODAY to prepare for success. Do you need to schedule your workouts? Cut up some veggies and do some meal planning? Cook something for lunches this week or go to the grocery store? Do some yoga, meditation or take a walk to de-stress?

Whatever it is, do that one thing and notice what a difference it makes for the week ahead!

Instead of storing leftovers in one large tupperware, portion them out in smaller, grab-and-go containers. So simple...but it saves a lot of time and makes life a whole lot easier!
