I've been a little quiet lately, and I wanted to let you know why.
Behind the scenes, I've been pouring my heart into something that's incredibly meaningful to me. It's been a labor of love, and I truly hope it will resonate with those who need it most.
I'm so excited to share that this new group will be open to everyone. My hope is to create a safe, welcoming, and supportive space where people can connect, feel seen, and know they don't have to navigate life's challenges alone.
Although this group is intended for 18+ - I am in the process of working on a group for younger teens.

The Circle of Hope
A Trauma-Informed Support Circle at GouldWood Meadows
Healing happens in connection.
Trauma can leave us feeling isolated, misunderstood, and disconnected—not only from others but from ourselves. At GouldWood Meadows, we believe that healing doesn't have to happen alone.
The Circle of Hope is a safe, welcoming support circle for adults navigating the effects of trauma. Whether your experiences stem from childhood adversity, grief, abuse, loss, illness, military service, first responder work, relationship challenges, anxiety, PTSD, or simply the weight of life's hardships, you are welcome here.
You don't need to tell your entire story to belong. Sometimes, simply sitting with people who understand is the first step toward healing.
Why a Support Circle?
Research tells us that trauma is incredibly common.
• Nearly 70% of adults worldwide will experience at least one potentially traumatic event during their lifetime.
• Approximately 1 in 3 Canadians report experiencing abuse before the age of 15.
• Trauma can affect every aspect of life, including our relationships, physical health, sleep, confidence, and ability to feel safe.
Yet despite how common trauma is, many people suffer in silence because they fear being judged or misunderstood.
Our support circle exists to change that.
What Makes Our Circle Different?
This is not group therapy.
Instead, it is a trauma-informed, peer-supported space where healing is encouraged through compassion, connection, mindfulness, nature, and when appropriate, the calming presence of our horses.
Each gathering may include:
🤍 Guided check-ins in a safe, non-judgmental environment
🤍 Gentle discussions around healing, resilience, boundaries, self-compassion, and emotional wellness
🤍 Mindfulness and grounding practices
🤍 Journaling and reflective activities
🤍 Optional interactions with horses that encourage trust, emotional awareness, confidence, and connection
🤍 Time in nature to regulate the nervous system and simply breathe
There is never pressure to speak. Listening is just as valuable as sharing.
Our Promise
We understand that every person's journey is different.
You will never be asked to relive your trauma.
You will never be forced to participate.
You will never be judged.
Instead, you'll be met with kindness, respect, and the belief that healing happens one step at a time.
Who Is This For?
The Circle of Hope welcomes anyone 18+ who is living with the effects of trauma, including:
• Childhood trauma
• Grief and loss
• Pregnancy, infant or child loss
• PTSD
• Anxiety and depression
• Domestic violence survivors
• First responders and healthcare workers
• Military veterans
• Caregivers
• Individuals navigating major life transitions
• Anyone seeking connection and support
You do not need a diagnosis to belong.
You simply need a willingness to take one small step toward healing.
At GouldWood Meadows
Healing doesn't always begin with words.
Sometimes it begins with fresh air.
Sometimes with the quiet presence of a horse.
Sometimes with a circle of people who simply say, "You're safe here."
Because no one should have to carry their trauma alone.
Together, we can create a community where healing is possible, hope is restored, and every person is reminded that they are seen, valued, and never alone. 🤍
