Emotions don't only cause Qi Stagnation 氣滯 in the Liver, also in Heart and Lung.

情智影響肝，這普遍都認同，很多人都聽過，然後眾人的理解就是甚麼最後都影響到腎。

今天失戀，所以你睡不著。很多人都會說影響到腎，你覺得你今天失戀便立刻歸個腎事？你今天失戀，覺得心痛麼？

今天喪失至親，影響到脾，令你沒有胃口，影響到肺和肝，令你哭，影響到心，令你心痛。

情緒關於肝事，但所有情緒影響心。

心受擾，所以睡不著。心緒不靈。

甚麼情況下會影響到腎？長期壓抑在情緒問題之下。短暫是氣滯，接著是連所反應最後歸於腎。

今年 3 月，卑詩省公共衛生官員警告不要食用榮興參茸燕窩海味行生產的沙薑粉，該產品可能含有有毒的附子粉；今次喜悅小厨中毒事件**懷疑**有人誤用附子粉當成沙薑粉煮給客人食用。

附子為毛莨科植物烏頭的塊根上所附生的塊狀子根。這種植物的根部看起來與姜根非常相似。

烏頭的母根是川烏，烏頭的子根是附子，是同一植物的不同部份，川烏的毒性比附子大很多，臨床上用川烏要很小心，用量不可以多過 6g，煎煮時間必需在一至兩小時以上；炮制過的附子就安全得多，一般用量在 15g 以下，只要煎煮時間超過一小時毒性就大減，藥性得以保存。

附子的味道有點像四川麻辣，食了第一個感覺是舌頭變麻了，如果你不是點了麻辣火鍋而感到舌頭變麻了，要立即停止食用，少量附子中毒頂多是麻痹、泄瀉一會兒，不會危及生命的，但大量附子中毒的話是可以引致死亡。附子中毒潛伏期是 30 分鐘至 3 小時左右，中毒表現主要為口唇發麻，頭暈、腹痛、腹瀉、噁心、嘔吐、視物模糊、呼吸急促、心慌胸悶、汗出肢冷、四肢麻木、心律失常、血壓下降、呼吸衰竭等。另外孕婦絕不能服用附子。

很多中藥本身有毒，毒素是用炮制方法或用其他藥來相畏，減低或壓制毒性。一般中藥用於 15g 下，屬於安全，亦有些中藥只需少許 0.1g 足已有害。

We didn't study TCM to battle in politics. Thank you, all professionals, legal, politicians, etc. who guided us in the right direction to save Acupuncture. I used someone else's video.

Thank you. Everyone in TCM worked very hard. Thank you for showing up at the protest (and I wasn't there 😛). Little person would make a difference in this scenario, but I really had other stuff to do. I'm so touched by the unity of all TCM personnel in Ontario.

How does it impact you when we become de-regulated?

If Acupuncture is not regulated or de-regulated in Ontario, you're losing your rights to safety, privacy act, your rights to be informed, the proper healthcare settings, etc. Because untrained people certainly don't know these.

S/S: do you notice a darker shade around the bottom of your nails on the nail beds?

In TCM, it can be an excess syndrome that's possibly caused by a deficiency type, or simply deficiency or excess type.

It's a sign that there may be excess toxins built up in the body slowing down the body. Some Kidney deficiency may also be present. Accompanied symptoms may be bad digestion, excess heat in the body like feeling warmer, etc.

In traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), emotions and physical health are intimately connected. This integrated mind-body approach to health and healing operates in a dynamic loop where emotions impact the health of the body and vice versa. Disease under certain conditions, such as a prolonged experience of one emotion or suppression of emotions. Dysfunction in the organ systems can also cause emotional symptoms; for example when the liver system is out of balance, excessive anger can result. Each of the emotions has correlations within a larger context, including a corresponding organ system and element. 

Diagnosis in traditional Chinese medicine is highly individualized. Once an impaired organ system and/or emotional imbalance is identified, the unique symptoms of the patient determine the practitioner's treatment approach.

On August 17, 2021, the Ontario government issued a directive mandating COVID-19 vaccination policies for high-risk settings.

To protect vulnerable patients and staff in settings where the risk of contracting and transmitting COVID-19 and the Delta variant is higher, the Chief Medical Officer of Health has issued a directive mandating hospitals and home and community care service providers to have a COVID-19 vaccination policy for employees, staff, contractors, students and volunteers, and for ambulance services to have a COVID-19 vaccination policy for paramedics. The vaccination policy must be effective no later than September 7, 2021, and at a minimum will require these individuals to provide proof of one of three things:

⚠️Full vaccination against COVID-19;
⚠️A medical reason for not being vaccinated against COVID-19; or
⚠️Completion of a COVID-19 vaccination educational session.
