A short time ago Sahtlam Fire Department received a small grant from the Cowichan Lake Community Forest Cooperative🌲

Funding from this grant is to be used for improvement in our community, and following deliberations we're looking for feedback from YOU, residents of Sahtlam Fire Protection District🚒

We've decided to use this grant for one of two purposes:

We'd like to subsidize purchase of WASP Wildfire home sprinkler kits, and make them more affordable for our area. Our department would purchase at a special lower price offered to us, and we'd subsidize further by cutting the cost of each kit from $150.00 down to $100.00.
Kits include gutter-mounted sprinklers which help protect your home during a wildfire🔥

Conversely, we'd investigate subsidies of $50.00 per Sahtlam household to go toward purchase of reflective address posts, cutting the cost of each unit down from $100.00 to $50.00💰

We may also offer a combination of these two options, but that's where you come in!😃
Let us know in a comment below which subsidized fixture you'd be most interested in for safety improvement for your home🏠 We'll take all feedback into consideration and purchase accordingly💵

Prices are approximate at this time📈

🚨We're in the survey stage right now so will NOT be taking orders quite yet, but we'll let you know when and how to order soon, so stay tuned!📺

Priority will be given to residents living in Sahtlam's Fire District so the grant can benefit our community as intended.

If you need cell service you are welcome to park in the lower parking lot by the GERTIE building (Old fire hall).
