Nritya Yoga® - Yoga of Dance Amrita Method was created by Amrita Choudhury in 1998. This practice combines Indian sacred/classical dance, yoga, meditation, mudras and movement therapy. A holistic approach to movement using the ancient Indian sacred arts and philosophies which date back thousands of years. It is believed that the sacred scriptures were handed down to us through expression, movemen

t, and rhythm of dance; a dynamic form of Yoga (jyog)! This workshop offers a holistic practice that goes beyond technique and structure; and emphasizes the whole being , as a continuous form in joyful, ecstatic motion. This workshop explores the beauty and grace of
1) NrityYoga® Postures
2) vibrant, joyful Trance Dance
3) Meditation in Motion using mudras(sacred hand gestures) & sacred mantra chanting. An experience that truly incorporates the body, mind & spirit; spiritually inspiring and soulfully uplifting! Job Description
The Production Coordinator will work in direct collaboration with the company’s Artistic Director in carrying out multiple production and marketing related tasks, pertaining to the successful completion of the present production Shakti Rising.

The successful candidate will be working primarily on one of Amrita Dance Creation's exciting new collaborative projects, providing diverse support systems and resources, to dance artists and productions.
Amrita Dance Creations is an Indian dance company which offers intercultural, multi-lingual, and cross-cultural productions in collaboration with multiple disciplines.
