What a great email to wake up to this morning 💛

The Foot Alchemist received Bronze in the Reflexology category for CommunityVotes Nanaimo 2026!

Five years ago I left my corporate career and stepped into something completely different. I’m so grateful for where that decision has led me and for this beautiful community I get to work in.

Thank you so much for supporting my business. It really does mean a lot. 💛

I’ve been thinking a lot about receiving lately.

Maybe because September was my birthday month and I was on the receiving end of so much kindness, friendship, and time with people I love.

It’s also had me reflecting on something I’ve always appreciated in the studio.

A eucalyptus stem from someone’s garden. Sunflowers. A little heart shaped rock someone saw and thought of me. A kind message after a session. A conversation. And simply the trust of those who choose to spend time here.

So much of what I do is about creating a space for others to relax and receive. But this work also gives a lot back to me too, often in ways that have nothing to do with things.

Connection. Trust. Kindness. And getting to do work I genuinely enjoy.

There’s a lot to be grateful for. 🌻 💓🙏

Thank you for being part of The Foot Alchemist community 🤍

I’ll be at the Cedar Witches Market this Sunday offering Foot & Hand Alchemy ❤️

Enjoy a combination of reflexology and energy healing to help you relax, calm your mind and reset.

For this market I’m also bringing in Messages from the Heart.

At the end of your session you’ll receive a heart crystal and a heart shaped card with a message just for you.

Healing through touch, connection and words that might be exactly what you need to hear that day. ❤️

Come find me Sunday, September 27 between 10&4 at Cedar Community Hall.

Warm stones tucked between the toes

I use these in many of my sessions - it really does feel like a hug for the toes 😂

Simple, relaxing and it feels so good

Sometimes it feels pretty good to have an hour where you don’t have to answer anyone, accomplish anything or be anywhere else.

A space to slow down, reset and take some time for themselves.

I’ll be taking some time away September 11 to 26. If you’re hoping to come in and don’t see a time that works for you, feel free to add yourself to the waitlist. Life happens and schedules shift so appointments do sometimes open up.

One of the things I love doing before a client arrives ❤️

Before each session I randomly choose a heart stone and one of my handwritten heart cards and leave them waiting.

I don’t look at the message beforehand.

After your session you get to turn your card over, see the message that was chosen for you and take both your card and heart stone home

Some of you have told me you still have your heart messages tucked away somewhere, which always makes me smile ❤️

Now I’m curious… where do you keep yours? What did yours say?

Show me your heart cards ❤️

There’s a little story behind the name The Foot Alchemist✨

To me, alchemy has always been about transformation and what can happen when different elements come together.

Sometimes the shift is simple. You arrive carrying the day and leave feeling calmer, more relaxed, and just a little different than when you walked in.

That’s my kind of alchemy 😊

What does alchemy mean to you?

Foot and leg cramps have come up in conversation with clients a few times lately and it got me curious.

Everyone seems to have something they do when one hits. I’ve heard people mention stretching, walking around, magnesium, electrolytes, bananas and even pickle juice.

So now I’m curious…

Do you get foot or leg cramps?

And what do you reach for or do when one hits?

I’d love to hear what people have tried.

✨ What are clients saying about The Foot Alchemist?

It means a lot when someone takes the time to share their experience and a message like this lands in my inbox.

“ I book an hour with Samantha each month is part of self-care. She shared so many gifts to support the bodies return to coherence. I leave each session feeling later and inspired.”

Thank you for your trust and for allowing me to be part of your self-care. Knowing someone leaves feeling lighter, more relaxed, and ready to return to their day is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do🙏
