Good morning!
It would seem our telephone issues have been resolved.
Thank you!
The North Bay Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic is a multi-disciplinary approach to primary care in our community.
Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinics are a new primary health care delivery model in which Nurse Practitioners are the lead providers of primary health care. Through a collaborative practice approach which includes Registered Nurses, Registered Practical Nurses, collaborating family physicians, and other health care professionals, nurse practitioners provide comprehensive, accessible, and coordinated fa
mily health care services. Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinics improve the quality of care through enhanced health promotion, disease prevention and chronic disease management, as well as improve care co-ordination and navigation of the health care system at the local level.

Spread the word out in the community!
Since 1991, November 14—World Diabetes Day—has served as a day that unites the global diabetes community to raise awareness. The date was chosen in honour of the birthday of Canadian Sir Frederick G. Banting, who, along with Dr. Charles Best, JJR Macleod and James Collip, are credited with the discovery of insulin.
*
Last year marked 100 years since the discovery of insulin.
*
While insulin is not a cure, it has helped millions of people around the world to live longer, healthier lives.
*
World Diabetes Day 2023, with its theme of 'Empowering Global Health', serves as a beacon of hope. It reminds us that by coming together, by understanding, caring, and acting, we can create a world where diabetes does not dictate our lives.
*
So, this World Diabetes Day, let's unite.
Happy Nurse Practitioner Week!
