Community Living Oakville

Community Living Oakville Supporting Full Community Participation for People who have a Developmental Disability Community Living Oakville was founded by parents who dreamed of a better life for their sons and daughters.
(11)

They wanted their children to learn in school, have friends, and be welcome in their communities. We continue that vision within the Town of Oakville. Today the organization includes individuals, families, staff & volunteers dedicated to making sure that people with developmental disabilities are able to enjoy their right to lead active and productive lives in their communities.

@ontrillium The history of residential schools has had long lasting and intergenerational effects on the physical and mental well-being of Indigenous populations in Canada.

For all the children that never returned to their loved ones, their communities and their culture, OTF remains committed to Reconciliation, so we never forget the truths of the past and continue to acknowledge the work we have yet to do.

A 24-hour National Indian Residential School Crisis Line has been created to provide emotional and crisis referral services for former students and those affected: 1-866-925-4419

---

Hi I'm hosting a Fellowship Golf Tournament with the Rotary Club of Oakville West and I was wondering if anyone would like to like to put in a 4some. It's a family and friends event. if you have anyone that is in Special Olympics I have a $30 rate I can offer that includes lunch all the other details are in the flyer below. This is a walking course but I only have 10 power carts available so please reserve sooner rather then later. This is a easy course to walk and it's a great beginners course too. Send me a private message if you are interested.
This is in memory of nicole
Hello everyone! Have you ever appreciated our beautiful trails in Oakville? Taking a walk, jogging, taking pictures or simply enjoying a peaceful moment? My team and I are partnering with the Oakville Community Foundation to gather research on Oakville resident's usage of our trails. This research will help the foundation to improve and potentially build more trails in our community 😄. Take a few minutes to participate in this survey and together, let's imagine an even better Oakville 🌳🚶‍♀️https://forms.gle/iCZf1QD3KgJSzsXH7
