Dr. Amy Doornekamp was born and raised on her familyโs hobby farm outside of the village of Odessa. She developed a love for animals very early in life and since childhood knew that she wanted to be a veterinarian. She graduated with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University and completed her clinical year of studies at Cornell University. After graduation she worked in upstate New York as an equine and small animal veterinarian. Amy returned home to Odessa where she started her own equine mobile practice, Odessa Equine Services. Amy grew up with horses and loves working them. With her love and expertise in working with small animals she founded Millcreek Veterinary Clinic in Odessa. Dr. Doornekamp sincerely appreciates everyone who has brought their pet to the clinic and looks forward to serving the community for many years to come.
