Daily movement boosts energy expenditure (burning 800–2,500 extra calories) by increasing adrenaline, which mobilizes and burns fat. Even without structured exercise, staying active makes a metabolic difference.

🕒 10K Steps: All at Once or Spread Out?
Spreading movement throughout the day is best. Prolonged sitting reduces glucose utilization, increasing insulin resistance and inflammation—even if you exercise.

Yoga is more than just perfecting a pose; 🧘🏼‍♀️ it’s a philosophy of life!

One of the lessons I recently learned from yogic philosophy is the importance of practicing nonviolence towards our bodies. Violence against our body can take many forms—functioning on 5 hours of sleep, binge drinking, fasting beyond what is healthy, and more.
